It is very nice, however is a little bit dangerous. For sure not for kids! The waves are relatively high and there are strong flows. But I love it!

I often travel alone or with my young son and being a female with a young child, safety is very important. I feel free to go wherever I like in this lovely community. The Mexican people are so wonderful and friendly. They are very kid...More

Visit this beach when in Huatulco. Why not? That's why you are there. It's a 20 minute walk from Santa Cruz or a 30 peso taxi ride. The beach is on the open ocean and is steep making ingress and egress a little tricky for...More

According to our concierge, Chaue is the beach to be on to watch the sun go down. Haven’t done that yet! But I can tell you that Chahue is a lovely sandy beach, deep but somewhat steep, with a moderate tide. It is a 10...More

Nice area to stay. Clean and the people are very friendly. Definitely a place to enjoy yourself. There are restaurants and shopping close by.

A quiet beach ... sand is not coarse however not as fine as Entrega. Water can be a bit rough but have been there on calm days and it was great. Lifeguards present and vigilant.

We stayed 4 nights at a local hotel by the Chahue Bay. The sunrise in the morning was just gorgeous. The ocean waves were mightily strong, so don't even try to swim in the bay if you are not a strong swimmer. We saw a...More

Went there for a walk. Mostly private beach clubs but there is at least one where you can rent a chair/bed with cover. Swimming seems to be a afterthought as it was blacked flag due to undertow.

This beach is the best we found in Huatulco. Large beach, fun waves, not busy, and no vendors bothering you to buy stuff. Hopefully it stays that way because it would be unfortunate if it turns into Santa Cruz or Entrega beach (those places are...More
