We have been travelling to Huatulco for many years and have gone to many of the usual tourist destinations in the area. This year, we decided to go with Kevin on a photo walk of La Crucecita, Huatulco. We met up with Kevin, mid afternoon and spent several great hours walking through the streets of La Crucecita learn ing about the area, takking pictures and learning what makes a good picture, how to compose a shot and how to tell a story with your camera. Kevin even spent time showing us how to use some of the many features of the camera.
After our tour, Kevin joined us for a drink and further explained how to get the most out of our camera's and the topices we were picturing.
It has been many years sice I have done more than just take snapshots and selfies with a camera. Kevin's reminders and perspecitives of how to take photographs reignited some long lost passion to take pictures. Hi gallery of his own work further motivted us.
The combination of historical tour, photography, and great conversation made for a great afternoon. I recomend this as a great activity for a visitor to Huatulco.

We were looking for a unique tour to try on our third visit to Huatulco and came upon Huatulco Photo Walks. From our initial contact, Kevin was easy to communicate with, professional and friendly. He even offered to limit the number of particiapants on his tour after learning that I have difficulty hearing in larger groups! The tour itself was a delightful combination of appealing photo opportunities, technical "tips", and vauable lessons about composition and knowing who your ultimate viewers will be. We were able to ask many questions and request clarification and never felt rushed; indeed Kevin extended the time way beyond the allotted 90 minutes while we shared a drink and chatted. Thank you so much for an entertaining and educational tour, Kevin!

Our family did the photo walk with Kevin 3 days ago. If you’re interested in photography or just want to take better pictures while on vacation, this may be something you’d like to do while in Huatulco. The information received was relevant to all of us even though we had one DSLR, one point and shoot, and two iPhones. Now we’re all quoting Kevin every time we stop to take a picture, “check your four corners, chin forward, be bold...”. Thanks Kevin and thank you Marisol for the tasty fried treats drizzled in honey!

Yesterday I took time to see La Crucecita through the lens of my Android phone and it has been a highlight of my stay so far. I would recommend photographer Kevin Spreitz to any visitor. Stop in and see him at his gallery and take a photo walk with an expert. Bring your camera or smartphone and see a slice of Huatulco that you might surely miss on your own!

I really enjoyed the La Crucecita photo walking tour with Kevin!! There were 5 of us who met at the church to begin our tour! Kevin helped us with our cameras or phones to learn how to take better pictures! He is a professional photographer:) We walked around town discovering amazing photo opportunities! I highly recommend taking this tour and look forward to going on it again the next time I visit Huatulco!!

My wife and I joined Kevin for a photo walk in the past week. I am a photography enthusiast with more equipment than experience. Kevin's tips helped me understand how to improve my "eye".
The thing I was most impressed with was the time he took with my wife and her new iPhone. He showed her how to use some of the features available. The pictures posted are what she shot during the walk. If you want to improve your skills, understanding or just learn more about taking meaningful photos. Thank you Kevin for showing us the town and how to photograph it.

My son and I did a photo walk tour with Kevin. My son had a Canon PowerShot and I was using my phone. Kevin was happy to pass on his knowledge of the features of our cameras. The discussion on composition will really make our photos tell the story of our travels. Kevin is very passionate and knowledgeable, thank you for the great experience.

My wife and I and another couple visited Huatulco during early November specifically to experience the Day of the Dead celebrations and we were not disappointed. Many people suggested a guide for our first visit and I found Kevin online and contacted him in September to arrange a photo walk for the afternoon of Nov 2nd. Our walk was in the large cemetery in Santa Maria de Huatulco and Kevin arranged everything including transportation to and from our hotel. The walk started with a wonderful explanation of the traditions and customs by Kevin's wife and then we spent almost 2 hours walking through the cemetery. Kevin spent time with each person on the tour providing one-on-one guidance and instruction on both photography best practices and technical tips with equipment (from DSLR's to smart phones). With Kevin's encouragement I was asking people for permission to include them in my photographs (something I would never do) and I came away with far better and more personal photos than I would have otherwise. I highly recommend this Day of the Dead photo walk with Kevin and Marisol. We stayed into the evening to experience the cemetery at night and it takes on a festival atmosphere with a night market, music and a lot of people - definitely worth seeing!

My friend and I took the photography tour of Huatulco with Kevin in February, 2019. We were both introduced to features on our cell phones that we can use to enhance photos and create photos that "tell a story." Kevin was most accommodating to our scheduling the photo tour of Huatulco at a convenient time for us. With what we learned we can now compose more interesting photos of our life experiences.

Hi Bf, sorry for the delay. For some reason, I wasn't alerted that this question came in. Lots of space for January. Just confirm a week or so before the 26th and you shoaled be fine. Cost is 500 pesos per person. We wander at a relaxed pace for at least 90 minutes, and take in the Church, Market, and many street scenes!
