There were no other visitors the day we went, so it truly was a chapel of peace. It was great to get an up-close view of the cross that is visible from so many locations around Acapulco. I sang in the Chapel, and the acoustics were excellent.

Las Brisas sits on the side of a mountain over looking the Acapulco Bay at first you are ah! struck at the beauty of the surrounding. The beautiful blue bay, The majestic mountains, and the world famous Acapulco strip. The hotel may be one of the oldest but it is very well keep. Service is very good and very accommodating... More

This peaceful place is a must for people visiting Acapulco. If you want to go away from the caotic world outside and in, this place will help you do so. Also the information of the family that built it is interesting. I recommend this beautiful place.

Our guide stopped by here on our tour of Acapulco. Learning about the family that built it and the story behind it was interesting. The cross is approx. 147 feet tall, and can be seen for miles. We flew directly over the top of it on the way back to Mexico City as well. There is also a beautiful sculpture... More

The Capilla de la Paz is a must see. The giant cross on the top of the Las Brisas mountainside can be viewed from almost anywhere in Acapulco, but it's even better at the Chapel of Peace looking down over all of Acapulco Bay.

This chapel is located atop one of the hills that encircle Acapulco Bay. The chapel is very peaceful with beautiful gardens and breathtaking scenery in all directions. It is a little daunting with stairs but worth the effort. Make sure you bring your camera and a small donation for the chapel. If taking a tour of the city make sure... More
