A little chapel up in the hills of Acapulco is a nice escape from noise and business of everyday life. When you get there you get a feeling of serenity with a gorgeous panoramic view of Acapulco. Worth a visit.

I loved this and would recommend to anyone who is visiting Acapulco. You need to have someone take you up as you must pass through a security gate because this is atop a gated community.

Our very excellent driver, Jose Luis Chavez Millan, took us on a tour, which included the Chapel of Peace. The views of the bay were stunning and the chapel and grounds were very well maintained and peaceful. Would recommend!

I was also told a plane crash by a local guide. The whole series of events was so tragic that there must be loads of documented info on it. Good luck with you research.
