The ocean is relatively calm, and it's shallow - you can walk out quite a distance before it gets deep. There are waves, but they aren't nearly as bad as the rest of the Pacific beaches I have visited. Walking during sunset was beautiful. We went almost to the northern end and stopped at a little store for drinks to... More

Not the real Acapulco feeling. Overpriced food and drinks. If you are a traveler, you will be dissappointed.

Miles of perfect beach. No rocks or other debris. Usually visit between mid-Feb and early April, and the beach is often empty and never crowded. Ocean can be rough if you venture out, but breaks far enough out that the shoreline is safe for kids. 90 every day. 70 every night. Not humid, so comfortable, though the sun is VERY... More

We stayed at a resort located on the beach. The beach is wonderful! The sand is very fine, but gets super hot in the afternoon. The ocean is the perfect temperature for swimming! The beaches were very empty and the ocean was sometimes unoccupied in front of our resort. This could be due to some larger waves or strong current... More

Beautiful location and lots of beach to walk. Was hot in Feb 2016 85-95 degrees each day. Some days humid others not so much.

Where the best resorts are (Mayan, Princess, etc, etc). Unless of course you own a nice loft over there with beach access. ¡The traffic in holidays is hideous!

It's a peninsula that stretches for 25 km. Of dark blond fine sand without alguays and rocks. The surf breaks 100 m. from the beach so that children can safely play in the water. On one side there is a lagoon and on the other is the ocean. There is usually a fair wind and the beach is always more... More

Since we stayed in Punta Diamante we went to turtle preserve neatby. It's not a fancy preserve - just a snall house where volunteers find sea turtle nests and move the eggs to a preservation area where they can hatch out of danger. They then release the baby turtles to the sea where only .001% will survive. There is a... More

We go to this location every year. We eat at Chez Memo's. We are known there now, been going there for close to 10 years. Pescado a la tailla is great accompanied by a poutine. And yes, Guillermo speaks excellent French. Strongly recommend this place to all Acapulco visitors.
