When Starbucks opens a cafe every third block, you know that better restaurants will follow. Carmenere, Bento, Pescao and Suntory REstaurants are all excellent and within blocks of each other.

All kind of activities day and night, very crowded, all type of food, street food stands selling traditional dishes. I loved the Costera. It is also very protected by Police and Army

If you enjoy the beach and like the water activities here you will find that. You can just have fun on the beach or rent a jet skie, banana, parachute, or boat. All kinds of vendors for all the your needs, like the delicious mango with lemon and fruit chili powder. I hope you find this review helpful and just... More

This a very nice beach. It's a public beach and don't have to pay to get in unless you want table and chairs. This is a good place for seafood. There are many restaurants along the beach to choose from.

This place is a good place to take your family and to fish in the evening, and experience the culture but one problem was that there needs to be a fence to keep kids from falling into the water .

I have been to Acapulco five times, beginning when I was a kid in the late 1970s. Yes, the Costera has changed. There are many more people, many more shops and the 1970s glamour is gone. Also you will see military guys driving around keeping the area safe from narcos. But I felt like it was still my old Costera... More

Let me first of all say that I am originally from the Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia, so I know the beach scene. - The sand was coarse and basically left my feet blistered - The beach was overcrowded with locals selling their wares - Im okay with selling but being CONSTANTLY bothered and bombarded with people asking you to... I stay at a resort outside of downtown largely because the beautiful beach is much more beautiful (to me) when it is not full of people, noise, vendors hawking goods, etc. Great if you like crowds. Otherwise, not so much.

The Costera is the main drag of Acapulco and it has everything that you may need! It is loaded with Restaurants, Bars, Discos, Supermarkets, Variety stores, a hug Walmart, McDonalds, Star Bucks and so much more! It is a great street for early morning walks and in the evenings when all the lights are on because it is so pretty.... More
