OK, so how many times have you gone to a "wine tasting" that was only, 10$, sip sip, and goodbye. Well that is what we expected and were pleasantly surprised to find a really happening time. The wines were extremely satisfying , generous pours, and we ended up buying. The entertainment and crowd was the perfect beginning of our evening... More

We dropped by for dinner. What a pleasant surprise. The food was great. I had the Basa and friends had the Mac and cheese / burger. The service was amazing. We met the chef Jon and it was very nice talking to him. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

Great selection of Mexican wines. We returned to buy more after enjoying the recommendations we received on our first visit!

I really wanted to like this place. We are getting really into wines and like to try local wines when we can. It's so cool that the owner has done a lot to establish relationships with various producers around Mexico and was able to tell the stories of each of the vineyards we asked about. Unfortunately they were having problems... More

We are seasoned travelers as well as wine lovers. Our routine is to have a glass or two of wine in the early evening, either in our hotel room, on the back of the sail boat, or on the beach, before we get ready to go out in the evening. So I was very happy to find La Bodega de... More

We finally got a chance to go in here. We sampled and bought a few bottles. It's in an easy to find location between the two main drags. Currently the shop is up for sale.

This is an interesting place. It caters to tourists, but that is fine. That is what this quiet town has become, a tourist Mecca since the main four lane divided highway was completed from La Paz to Cabo San Lucas. Kinda destroyed the atmosphere, but that is progress!

Monday night is Flight night and Wed. is Big Red. Mac pours samples of some of the Baja made wines he stocks, along with food and some local musical entertainment. Locals abound and fun is always on the agenda.
