As with most of the area's beaches, this one is down a long, dusty and rutted dirt road, but it is well worth the trip. One of Mexico's former presidents is rumored to have owned the hacienda now in ruins next to the parking lot of this gorgeous beach. Walk through an intense palm grove down a foot path and... More

This is a spectacular, uncrowded beach, at least it was when we were there. We were the only visitors and had the entire playa to ourselves. Great swimming, solitude, the occasional pelican. What else do you need?

A great stretch of beach at the end of a dirt road and a short walk. We were there over Easter Week and practically had the beach to ourselves. Keep an eye our for huge sand dollars buried in the wet sand. Stay for the sunset, but watch out for livestock in the road on the way out. While you... More

A tranquil, peaceful, beautiful beach that is off-the-beaten-path, and always uncrowded. The sand is hard-packed and easy to walk on. The waves break a distance out, so it's also very safe. An absolutely gorgeous place to spend an afternoon!

this beach is down a bumpy dirt road and SO worth the drive. you walk through a forest of palms and come out on a pristine beach (which was empty when we were there) it felt like our own private paradise!

We loved finding this beach. We went on a Sunday which is usually locals day. It was still almost completely secluded except for two families who came to picnic and play in the surf. The walk through the palm grove is really pretty, but not too long. There is shade near the rocks at the closer end of the beach.... More

Palm Beach is a lovely, secluded beach surrounded by palm trees, which is a little bit different for this area. The beach is "just right". It is a long, bumpy road to get there, but it is doable in a rental car, I think. You can see the palms off in the distance from Hwy 19, but you have to... More

You'll need a car and have to make it down a bit of a washed out road, but the payoff is a nice beach that you will likely have all to yourself. It's a bit of a walk through a palm grove to reach the beach, be sure to bring an umbrella or shade tent if you need it and... More

There are not enough words nor adjectives to describe how much I LOVE this beach! It is perfect in every way. Isolated, good walking, fabulous for swimming, breezy even when it is 90+ in town. The entire setting is magical and you get a feel for what heaven may hold for us. You simply have to experience it yourself, XXX

Great beach! You may see one or two other people there max. There is a small hike to the beach. When there is a solid south swell, big surf! Perfect peel.
