The bells of this simple, yet well maintained church ring on the hour and call residents to mass twice daily. Not being a practicing Catholic, I find it peaceful just to sit outside the church in the evening to listen to those inside worshiping and singing. Outside the church is a small plaza facing the valle de huerta and one can gaze into the distance, watching the sunset over the ocean, hoping to catch a glimpse of a breaching whale. It's also a colorful photo-op spot given the brightly painted TODOS SANTOS art sign is situated there.

When visiting Todos Santos we stopped in the Iglesia De Nuestra Senora Pilar. Nice little church in the centre of town. Free to go inside, has a little gift shop which also sells coffee etc.

Small church, nothing special inside, but TODOS SANTOS town’s letters in the outside worth it.
How to get there? In Manuel Márquez de León Street. Is in the same block as Hotel California and is just in front of Todos Santos Main Square.
Experience: well, it is ok if you are there and want to know the church, but neither the architecture or the interior has something special to define it as a landmark, but in the outside, one particularity is the TODOS SANTOS letters.
If you know about this town, you will know that there are tons of artist, very good and internationally recognized. In all Mexico is very common that each town has some distinguished letters to display its name and normally is something they just send to someone that design this type of letters, but here, each letter of town’s name was donated by one of the art galleries of TODOS SANTOS. So, if you pay attention, you will see each letter is different and has the signature (the painting, not a real signature) of each artist.
Opening Hours: the church not sure, the letter can be visited anytime.
Cost: parking and admission are free.
Duration: less than 30 minutes.

The Misione de Nuestra Senora de Pilar is a beautiful, well preserved mission church. It won't take much of your time to see the church, so stop by and have a look inside. The stained glass windows and the simple decorations are very beautiful.

I probably would have not had this church on my list of things to do in Todos Santos, but the attraction was on the Todos Santos Half-Day Sightseeing Tour from Los Cabos but it was worth the few minutes to look around. There is the Todos Santos sign that is an ideal scenic photo opportunity right by the church and across the street from the Plaza Centro.

My favorite land tour of recent trip to Los Cabos was to the town of Todos Santos. Our guide, Cesar, was knowledgeable and friendly. It was about a 50-minute trip from our resort, and Cesar kept us talking the whole trip about the local flora, fauna, size, and history of the Baja peninsula. On the way to Todos Santos, we visited a tequila distillery and tasted (and purchased!) their wares, then once in Town, we visited this lovely church and learned its history. As it was Dia de Los Muertos, hearing the history of the church was particularly poignant. We also learned a big about the purpose of Dia de los Muertos and visited a typical altar to lost family members. The highlight of the trip is to the actual Hotel California (of musical fame) where we spent a delightful lunch and enjoyed the tour. Then back to the resort!

I am always looking for a significant historical landmark even in beach communities. This one did not disappoint. It is one of California's Dominic missions, or what's left of it. Hopefully they continue to take care of it.

It’s at a walking distance to all of its attractions and there’s many shops, ice cream shops, souvenirs store around it. You can see the town and it’s great surroundings.

We just visited the Mission. The stained glass, visible is previous photos, is no longer there. Does anyone know why? Thank you.
