Santa Cecelia is the saint of music so you will often see musical performances here in this plaza. If you want to hire your own personal mariachi band, you can do that, too! During the daytime, there are lots of small vendors set up selling...More

Amigos del Artes is located right where the icon arch of Tijuana is. Good place to get there to see some performance and some Mexican souvenir mainly serving American tourists. A couple nice restaurants in the area too.

Stumbled upon this area after walking to the Tijuana Arch from the border. The place seemed colorful with the shops and restaurants. It was interesting to see the different things for sale as the souvenir stands. Did not stop to eat and the restaurants, but...More

Close to boarder, yet, far in time, beautiful. In the area of the arch, especially pm and evenings, and weekends, you find all kinds of street performers (singers, players, dancers), which give a special flavor to a visit.

This litlle area I think is also called Plaza De Mariachis. This little area is near the Tijuana Arch. Lots of different shops and bars. We spent some time at a Transvestite bar. A little raunchy but it was fun. And drinks were cheap.

Lots of things to see and buy. There is a strip near by that is filed with restaurants and bars. Many stores sell things such as jewelry, clothes and trinkets. You can also get a legitimate mariachi serenade while you eat.
