Unexpected stories of Russian, Chinese, Japanese, French settlements in Baja. Reproductions of sailing ships. Well worth it.

went to Mercado Hidalgo and decided to take a walk to Tijuana Cultural Center, almost empty place, no too much to see, one o two expositions.. nothing interesting.. continued to Plaza Rio Tijuana Shopping Mall for a diner

I have seen several performances here and they have been excellent quality in a fabulous venue. This time, there was an artisan craft market going on as well which added to the festive quality of the evening out.

You'd be surprised at some of the fascinating exhibits they get. For example, we saw an exhibit of medieval torture devices (very disturbing) and another time saw photography from all over the world. I especially like the garden with replicas of real Aztec deities.

This is a large facility with a mega screen...2 different museums...large theater...presentation halls....killer book store and more. Many outside shows, fairs and the like. Check out the museum of the California's and more. The big concrete ball is a iMax theater. Worth a visit.

Nice place to see relax and cool off from the heat. ... and it's free. Just be careful taking pics. You can on somethings but kids all in spanish so if you do not read the language don't take any. Some neat things to see...More

Incredible Omnimax movies. Interesting museum of the Baja California origins. Always there are some visiting exhibit weather in paintings, sculpture, etc. The fountain in the courtyard is fantastic
