Best Valle de Guadalupe wine tour!! Loved it so much the first time I booked a second tour one month after the first! I live in San Diego and it was really easy to just walk across the border and be picked up on the TJ side. Jesse was our driver both times and he was awesome! He picked beautiful wineries with delicious wines and amazing lunch spots. He's also very knowledgeable about the area and gives you a little tour on the way to Valle de Guadalupe. The owner Randy was very communicative and made it easy to plan our trip. Would 11/10 recommend and can't wait to go again!

Baja is no longer known for its beautiful beach coast, but thanks to our driver Jesse, Baja will be known to us as wine country. Jess was very knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. We will highly recommend him and Randy to our friends.

We had such a blast with our tour guide, his name was Jesse. He made sure we were having fun the entire time and gave good suggestions. We will definitely make it a point to come back and enjoy one of these wine tours again!

What’s wonderful experience this was!! Our driver Jessie took us to stunning wineries, a great lunch spot and taught us a lot about the Valle. Not to mention the wine, oh boy was it fun. The trip was seamless and wonderful. I recommend this customized tour to everyone! It’s a safe carefree way to see the Valle and have tons of fun doing it!

Would you ever think of going wine tasting in Baja Mexico? Me either, but what a wonderful experience this turned out to be! I agreed to go but just couldn't imagine wine tasting in Baja would be a good idea. Boy, was I wrong, what a great way to spend a day with friends and meeting new friends all along the way!
The day started with a large nice white coach with a very friendly and fun driver named Randy arriving at our hotel. He had no problem with the 6 of us brining our own wine for the ride to the Valle de Guadalupe where a the Wineries were located. A nice couple of bottles of local wine along with crackers were provided for the ride as well.
Randy took us on a beautiful winding road down into the Valle de Guadalupe where we made our first stop at Malagon Winery. Where in addition to great wines, an assortment of cheeses and breads there were a ton of wonderful mild to wild spreads provided. Not a bad start, but it only got better from there as Baja Luxury Wine Tours even picked up the tab for the first wine tasting!
Next we headed to L.A. Cetto Winery which was another delightful place with even more wonderful wines. Then Randy suggested we head to Finca Altozano Winery where in addition to even more great wines and a really nice outdoor patio. They also have these "Giant Wine Barrels" about 10 feet tall with a set of railed stairs leading to the top, with circular padded seating and a table in the center where you can sip wine and enjoy fantastic 360 degree views! This is where Randy hangs out and catches some rays while the rest of us do the wine tastings.
We were all starting to get a little hungry and buzzed so Randy broke out more cracker and suggested we head over to a place and do lunch there. Wow, what a place if you didn't know you were in Baja, you'd think you were in the Wine Country of California, what great food, wine and even more views!
We next went to a beautiful Winery on a hill side where you could even rent little bungalos with glass roofs to see the stars at night! More great wine and views, what a great ending to a perfect day!
I know I went on and on about the Wineries but I don't think you could do this any better way than leaving the driving and Winery selections to Baja Luxury Wine Tours! As they are very professional, fun and accommodating in every way! And you don't have to designate a driver or worry about getting lost or speaking Spanish! I bet they’d even pick your party up at the Border if you asked! It would probably cost more but then you all could just totally enjoy wine, food, friends and the local culture all from the Luxury of your Chauffeur driven Coach, Cheers!

I had come across Baja Luxury Wine Tours when searching on Trip Advisor and had emailed in with a few questions. I wanted to suprise my boyfriend with a private wine tour. Ray was really helpful and quick to respond. He even suggested a place for dinner and offered to book us reservations. Tanya was our driver, she was so sweet, a pleasure to talk to and showed us around all the wineries and even on our drive out. I really can't say enough about our experience with them, we enjoyed every part! I definitely recommend for anyone who has never been out to these wineries, and also is looking for someone else to DD (and even show you around).

We priced this on line and then asked for a quote from them. It was considerably higher than any of the reviews that we read so we decided not to book it.

We enjoyed a private 2 person tour. The internet arrangements were convenient. We were picked up promptly at our hotel. Our driver/guide (Randy) was very social and informative. He afforded us options on our tour and was very accommodating. The vehicle was comfortable, clean (and new!). On the tour we were provided water and wine coming & going. We stopped at three wineries. Two of the tastings were included. Tastings were included at the third place, provided we made a purchase, which we certainly DID! First stop, OK with BUT some outstanding cheeses, jellies, etc. Second stop, better wine, with an enjoyable & funky environment. (IF you are not into "funky", Randy will accommodate their preference.) Our third stop, well off of highway (and someplace we would have NEVER) found on our own), had the best wine of the day and we purchased 4 bottles. Randy can tell you about the owner of this place. After we left and were about a mile away, we were chased down the dirt road and stopped...by one of the customers. I had left my iPhone 6S Plus on a table in the winery. Very impressive. Randy commented that behavior was demonstrative of the Mexico he knew.
The experience was so positive that we're going to search out "private tours" on our upcoming adventures. We have endured scores of "bus tours" where 30+ pack into a bus to "experience" a place. That sort of experience, which of course cost less, isn't in the same league of Baja Luxury Wine Tours. I highly recommend this outstanding experience.

Let me just start this review by saying that I am aware that these days, written reviews are most people’s way of finding goods and services that they are not familiar with, so a bad one can be quite damaging, I understand that. I myself, check reviews on the various websites, before I commit to buying a product or using a company that I have never used before. This review is by no means an attempt to sabotage anyone’s business for any personal gain or thrill, only an honest, detailed account of my one time experience. I am not looking to bully, harass or vilify any persons or business, only to do the right thing. My experience may have been a fluke, a onetime thing, but what compelled me to write this up is the fact that at the end of the day, when I was ready to ask for my money back, the owner blocked my texts, so even if it was a fluke, blocking me only shows this man’s character, in my opinion. The experience was so blatantly fraudulent that I feel compelled to warn others and to hopefully help prevent that others are not taken advantage of in the future. Firstly, let me say that there is nothing “luxury” about Baja Luxury Wine Tours. I initially booked a 2 person tour as the highlight of a quick getaway to Rosarito Beach. I paid $155 by PayPal & was instructed to pay the balance, $155 to the driver on the morning of the tour. Mind you, after researching many similar tours, which run $49-$99 on average, I decided to go with Baja Luxury Tours because their website touted a high end type of tour & all the reviews I read seemed very positive, I was impressed. The morning of the tour, I received a text message with the name of the driver & pick up time, 10:30am. The driver showed up at 10:45am in a newer Chrysler sedan with backseat windows so high that it was difficult to see out. It was immediately evident that the driver, who was very nice & attempting to be helpful, knew nothing about wine and spoke only a limited amount of English. By the time we arrived to the first winery, a very small, not very popular winery, i.e. cheap, I was so carsick that I felt as if I had been riding in the back of a panel van. No wine enroute, no cheese & crackers, no stories of the local wine history, no nothing, only a static radio playing Mexican music and the bottled water that we brought. I texted Randy, the owner, promptly & he called me directly. I told him that I was not happy & that for $310, we could have flown to Napa Valley for a wine tour! Randy listened and then insinuated that maybe I was expecting too much and that this winery tour was a “rustic” type of setting. He said that he was adding one more tasting to the rest of our three, $6 a piece wine tasting schedule. I was not impressed with his response & told him that I did not feel paying the second $155 was in order because we could have just hired a driver and done the same thing for much less money, he agreed. The rest of the day was saved by the fact that my friend was from Mexico, spoke Spanish & was very familiar with the area and the wineries. The driver spent the entire day with us and was very nice and made every attempt to do what he could to improve the situation, that which I did appreciate. When we arrived back to our hotel, I politely texted Randy to request my original $155 back for services NOT RENDERED…and guess what? Yup, he blocked my number! I have sent an email to him but I have not yet heard back from him. Luckily, I paid the original $155 with my Platinum AMEX & American Express is extremely accommodating with disputed charges, posted or not. I notified AMEX and they are investigating. So, just beware of Baja Luxury Wine Tours and for the record, I am not a complaining or vindictive type of person looking to trash a business online, just an honest, hardworking professional that never wants to see anyone ripped off and only wants people to get what they pay for and expect!

Took my girlfriend down to Baja for her birthday and we were fortunate enough to spend a day with Tanya, who was super friendly, accommodating, and more than happy to take us off the beaten path to visit some additional wineries on our hit list that weren’t on the scheduled tour. She lined up our cellar tours and tastings, served as our personal photographer, and gladly put up with our drunken antics. We will be back very soon and texting Tanya to set up a tour will be the first order of business!

Hello Cecele, when I booked they came and picked us at our location which is not far from where you’ll be. My driver was Enrique which I highly recommend for you to request. He’s very knowledgeable, personable and you’ll feel comfortable with him. Not to mention the places he’ll take you are amazing. I believe the pick up is free.

Pricing? Pick up from Rosarito Beach Hotel? Can a person with a walking difficulty (2 canes) get up and down the van easily, and are there any stairs at the selected wineries?
