I went diving in Loreto one day each with Dolphin Dive and Blue Nation and found both of them to be excellent. At Dolphin Dive, I dived with Rafa, with a local marine park warden tagging along on his day off and had a great experience. I'm an experienced diver into underwater photography and found Rafa to be the perfect guide. He is into photography himself, so can give good recommendations regarding what lens etc. to bring, and is great at finding all the little critters and then showing them to you afterward in the ID book. He really has a deep passion for the underwater world and it shows. In fact, it seems he started out as a fisherman when he was young but then became a dive guide 20 years ago - what an inspiring story. - The dives themselves were fascinating and well run, and they had even brought an extra wetsuit to put on top of the two I was already wearing (it was February and pretty chilly in the water). Overall, one of the most enjoyable and inspiring days of diving ever! Thank you.

Had an AMAZING, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE experience!! The equipment was new, high quality, and safe. Rafael was extremely knowledgeable, responsible, and led us to the best spots! We dove with sea lions, saw beautiful reefs, and went to a gorgeous beach where they provided a delicious lunch. They took us sight seeing on a boat ride where we saw beautiful scenery, blue footed boobies, and even a sea turtle! It was one of the best experiences I’ve had! Hoping to go back again!

The gear, boat and shop were all in order. However, I was disappointed by the way the boat captain & dive master treated wildlife. On the way out to our dive site, we encountered a large pod of dolphins and the captain proceeded to boat back & forth over the top of the pod fairly quickly - easily could have hit one. It seemed reckless & unnecessary to enjoy the bottle nose dolphins. The dive master also found a very large turtle during our first dive, which was great. However, he too harassed the turtle to get it to move from it's resting spot under the rock where it was hanging out to stay out of the current. Again, completely unnecessary & took away from the experience for me. The dive master also appeared genuinely disinterested in providing a high-quality experience and seemed to be going through the motions - not providing a great briefing, nor selecting great dive sites (at least it seemed to me). I chose to dive on a whim, so perhaps a fault of my own, however would not recommend nor go back w/ Dolphin Dive Center.

Excellent company. Great dive masters, Raphael and David. Boat captain Xavier kept us safe and comfortable. We did 12 tanks and our friends went snorkeling twice. The marine life was outstanding. Whales, dolphins, turtles, rays, eels and a trillion fish in all shapes and sizes. Also many nudibranch’s. Even the sandwiches provided with lunch were great. We ended our last dive with a school of dolphins swimming around us. Easy communication. Off season diving is terrific.

We had a group of 7 including children 11 to 15 on a sea lion snorkelling and beach trip to Coronados island. The staff was very friendly and professional. They are also very knowledgeable and respectful of the national park rules. Our guide Rafa and the boat drive were very helpful at all times. We happily recommend Dolphin Dive Center in Loreto for family tours and diving alike. Can’t wait to come back.
