I LOVED this trip! Our guides: Art, Ramon & Sanalberto were knowledgable and expert! We saw several whales, but the big treat was the hundreds of dolphins swimming in a pod, which we came upon while out on the water - it was wonderful1! The food was superb, fresh and expertly prepared. I intend to make this trip again next year! Thank you Sea Trek!!

In March of 2022 my husband and I, along with six of our friends booked a kayaking/ island camping trip out of Loreto, Mexico. It was seriously a trip of a lifeline. Everything about it was five-stars! The guides (Ramon, Isa, & Umberto) went above and beyond to make everything special. The food was fresh and delicious and plentiful! It was the perfect combination of structured and unstructured. And the Sea of Cortez was absolutely paradise! We saw blue whales, bottlenose dolphins, ORCAS!!, Grey whales, and so much more.

(1) Arturo was excellent, very thoughtful, and informational. He genuinely loves the Baja. His enthusiasm and appreciation of the natural beauty were contagious. He is very capable, but also very kind, insightful at times. Tambien, Rueben trataba ensenarnos a bailar. Fue muy diviertido, pero principalmente todas las mujeres tienen dos pies isquierdas. (3) Our night time paddle with bioluminescence at our last camp on Danzante was outstanding. (4) I have paddled on a SeaTrek trip with [a friend's] group on three occasions. This was my favorite trip. The dancing, the nighttime festivities, and the paddle at night really added a lot to the trip.

Make sure you book the tour that has Joey, Arturo, Ruben and Samberto as the naturalist guides and crew! They are true whale whisperers, and the combination of scientific expertise and local inside knowledge of these amazing creatures of the deep that this group has is truly magical. And they are as wonderful at sharing their knowledge as they are at making sure your trip is the best it can be. They are hands-on at assisting at whatever level is needed, whether with respect to kayaking, camping skills, snorkeling, or whatever it is you are doing. The food they provided and prepared was plentiful and fresh and delicious. And the setting was so spectacular, majestic and pristine. I felt connected with nature, unspoiled, in all its glory. Whales (Pacific Gras, Blues, Humpbacks), dolphins, and other sea creatures and birds, some nesting and rare, were plentiful. Our group of 12, plus guides and crew, became like one entity, experiencing nature together, while maintaining our own privacy when wanted or needed.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong skiff supported kayaking and camping adventure in Loreto's National Marine Park. We had been to Loreto before, so we knew that it would be a fun place to visit. But kayaking/snorkeling/paddle boarding, and camping on and around the islands in the Sea of Cortez greatly exceeded our expectations. Sea Trek gave us thorough pre-trip advice regarding the weather, what to pack, and what to expect on the trip and they were spot on. I cannot say enough good things about our guides - I would ask for them again, any time. What the guides were able to do, when it came to preparing our meals, was restaurant quality and over-the-top for a camping trip. The pace of the trip suited both experienced and inexperienced kayakers. The camping accommodations were well thought out for comfort and safety. The serenity and scenery of the islands and the abundant marine life made for a memorable week. We plan to do the Loreto to La Paz trip with Sea Trek next year.
