We (a group of three friends) rented gear from Sea Kayak Baja Mexico to paddle from Loreto to La Paz, and apart from this region being one of the best paddling grounds ever, the gear, advice, safety and services this company offers are top-notch and reliable. We had the best time. Highly recommended. I took rolling clinics with Ginni and Tasha prior to our trip, and it finally clicked! I cannot thank you guys enough for making all this happen. We will be back!

SKBM is the best. We did a six day photography tour with them. They are well organized, responsive and prepared to meet the challenges that come with longer overnight tours. We missed our connecting flights to Loreto, so arrived a day late, but SKBM had everything organized to get us caught up with our group as soon as we landed on the ground. We also had one participant who got ill during the trip and they did all of the right things to keep everyone safe and comfortable. We were well informed about what had happened and would happen. Our route was changed due to weather, but that only made the trip more enjoyable, as battling the weather is a complication we could do without. The photography opportunties are amazing. We will use them again without any hesitation.

Yes, it was one of those trips that just kept throwing hurdles, but it's the unexpected that puts the adventure in "adventure travel"! Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We're happy to meet the hurdles with you and leap them together. We love what we do, and we especially appreciate the chance to share the experiences with you. I will pass your compliments to your guide Ramon. Looking forward to seeing you again in Baja!

I had a fantastic class with Tasha & Jorge. They were very competent and we learned more than we expected. I would definitely like to come back and do more kayaking with them.

Thank you for your great review! At SKBM we take seriously and are passionate about training, including our own continued professional development as paddlers, guides, and coaches. We are glad this reflects in the quality of program! All of our coaches are certified by the internationally respected organization British Canoeing as Kayak Coaches, and regularly practice their craft with peer review, by offering cost-accessible courses to the local community throughout the slower season, and by debriefing their courses with each other and with their coach mentor. Our courses range from half-day introduction or rescue or roll, to 6-day sea paddler or sea leader programs. All of our expeditions are led by guides who are also certified as coaches and happy to offer personalized coaching along the way. We look forward to paddling with you again soon!

My second time with Sea Kayak Baja Mexico. This was a private trip with 7 friends similar to the Loreto Islands Builder trip. We saw fin whales, blue whales, humpback whale, blue footed boobies, sea turtles and beautiful sunsets. Food was excellent and healthy and the guides are excellent paddlers, coaches, cooks and very knowledgeable about the area. Loreto is a lovely Mexican town and we wished we had stayed longer to enjoy the area. My husband was a little reluctant to go but was sold 100% and wants to go back to Sea Kayak Baja.

Thank you so much, Kayakgirlmn : )) We appreciate your return, especially bringing a group of friends, and converting your husband to a Baja fan! Your enthusiasm is at the heart of our success, and supports the good we strive to do in the community, the environment, and the world. Way to pass on the inspiration! I'm stoked to hear about your whale sightings. There have been many around this year, which is a cause for great celebration. Thank you too for mentioning Loreto itself. It's an oft-overlooked aspect of being "out there" on a paddling vacation. We love our little one-traffic-light town, especially the fact that the traffic light still doesn't work, and the traffic doesn't care one bit. Warm regards from the heart of Baja. We look forward to seeing you, your hubby, and your friends back again soon!

We were looking for an active daytour in Loreto and were very happy with the trip to Coronados Island. We spent as much time in the kayaks as possible (we went about 8 miles) and as a result ended up not snorkeling. We did not get a real hike on Coronados to the top for great views, more a flat walk, which was a bit disappointing. But the sea lions and rock formations we saw from the kayaks on the island were fantastic, and our guide was knowledgeable and thoughtful. He checked regularly on whether we wanted to keep paddling or wanted to move on to something else. The trip over and back was lovely. Overall a wonderful day. Also, we paid the extra $5 for the upgraded carbon fiber paddles. It was nice to have this option. We booked directly with the company.

Thank you for taking the time to review your trip, and for all the feedback. What a treat to paddle pretty much all the way around the island. Well done!! Yes, it was for the time paddling that your guided directed you towards the easier hike, as the trail to the top of the island is quite grueling and takes a bit of time. Take two steps up, slide one back, that kind of thing. What your experience does leave is an opportunity to return for a hike and snorkel! Danzante Island also has great paddling, snorkeling, and more accessible hikes with stunning views. It's a very different and equally beautiful landscape. Thanks again for the review, and we hope to see you on your next visit to Loreto!
