We just completed a 5 night kayak trip with skiff support with Antonio, Enzl and Adrian as our guides. We had the most incredible trip and were overwhelmed by the experience. Our 3 guides were wonderful and thought of everything, the food was delicious throughout, and we saw some really special spots. Would 10/10 recommend as a once in a lifetime experience! We were lucky enough to swim in a pod of hundreds of dolphins, and had some beautiful blue whale sightings. Paddling south went above and beyond and we would be back in a heartbeat!

Paddling South Loreto to La Paz expedition is a tremendous kayak adventure for a variety of paddlers intermediate+. It is beautiful, remote, and was incredibly green following Hurricane Kay in September. Beach camps were gorgeous, coffee always on by 7am and great food including fresh caught seafood! Guides were super hospitable and knowledgeable with communication and capability to access help if a need ever arose. Great trip. Do it if you can and make sure to appreciate one of the most rich, and diverse marine environments on the planet! And leave no trace!

The guides were absolutely amazing. Top-notch. Fun, well-informed, professional. With Adrian's boat handling I never once got seasick. Antonio's cooking was delicious, creative, beyond all expectations. And Jorge's deep knowledge of and respect for the land, the ocean and the creatures made me respect him immensely and contributed to a real sense of gratitude. A spectacular adventure kayaking, camping, hiking, eating, laughing and seeing the natural wonders of the Gulf of California. Thank you for an amazing experience!

We had a fantastic experience on our 6 day kayak trip in El Golfo de California south of Loreto. Everything was perfect . Our guide David was an excellent guide and an all around good person. Many nights we dined on the fish he caught , sitting on a deserted beach at the sunset , the dolphins playing in the surf. Wow ! Gracias , David !

Our experience over the 5 day kayak trip was truly outstanding. Helena and Jorge were great guides: friendly, funny, knowledgeable (local culture and history, local flora and fauna (plants, whales ,etc), great camp cooks, high energy and, foremost, focused on client safety and enjoyment throughout the trip. The paddling was perfect and just the right amount. Organization of the logistics by the guides worked very well. We would love to return to Loreto and find the blue whales.

We enjoyed a superb 10-day kayak trip from Mulege to Loreto in March, 2022 with Paddling South. This was my first trip to the Sea of Cortez and it exceeded all expectations. Jorge Salas and Elena Gonzalez were exceptional leaders and delightful, exuberant company on our trip. They made every day a wonderful adventure. The dawn, moon, stars, shells, sand, surf were joyfully intoxicating. I would highly recommend this trip.

Our guide, David, was excellent! He was patient, not overbearing, friendly, and fun. He had a great knowledge of the sites we visited, and recommended good places for us to snorkel, swim, and read. We also enjoyed talking to him at greater length during mealtimes, getting to hear more about his life and path to guiding. He had a very good intuition about when to talk and engage us and when to leave us to ourselves. It was the perfect for my wife and I to spend our honeymoon and to relax after a hectic few months.

THIS EXPERIENCE IS AMAZING!! We did the expedition islands and coast trip, and there are not enough positive words to describe how wonderful this experience was. Antonio and Adrien were amazing! We loved how much fun they were, and we always felt safe and in good hands. They were fantastic in the kitchen, and their sense of humor made the trip so much fun. We always felt like they knew what was best and were helping us stay safe and have a great time. They were very patient with all of our group, as we had some people who were slower than others, and they helped us all have an amazing time. My only recommendation for the guides would be mas tortillas, por favor :)
The beauty of the land and sea were my favorite parts of the trip, but we wouldn't have been able to enjoy it without feeling safe. I loved how relaxed we all were and how we could choose to snorkel or hike or lay on the beach. Having free time really makes it wonderful!
Thank you so much for an amazing experience! This was top notch, quality customer service from day 1. Steve went out of his way to help us decide which trip was right for us, and it was very easy working with him and Jessica in the planning of the trip/travel. The trip itself was one I will recommend to everyone I know who likes being outdoors. I love how there were differing levels of ability in all things we did, with the guides helping us do what we wanted and enjoy all aspects of the trip. The fresh fish and guacamole were some of my favorite things about the food, but ALL the food was fantastic. I really enjoyed the humor and great guidance of our guides. Antonio was hilarious and made the trip so much fun for all of us, and Adrian's laugh and smile were a treat! I also personally appreciated how strong Adrian was, since he held the boat every time I got in and out so I didn't tip it . . . . I can't thank you enough for helping me recover my joy of travel, as well as restocking my energy and supply of love for the earth. We will be back!

Our guide, David, was amazing! I felt very safe in his capable hands. He was knowledgeable, fun to talk to, and set a great, relaxed mood for the trip. He was clearly very experienced and had great recommendations for walks to go on and good places for snorkeling on the islands. He was also an excellent cook!

This was an outstanding experience. Our guides were fantastic - they were attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, etc. The scenery and pace were great - we were able to enjoy the scenery and never felt rushed. The kayaking wasn't hard at all. We did some great snorkeling. We are hoping to go back and explore further.
