I had the privelage of booking a 4 wheel off road experience with Adrian and Mayté. It was a fabuloso experience going full throttle down roads and trails twisting through the ranches and down to the sea and back. Adrian was a true pro, with experience only a local could provide. We took some back roads, twisted up and down some truly rugged roads, past various species of cacti, with the wind in our face and dust in our mouths. Cruising along sea-side past la palapas, and watching the tide along the vintage of Isla Carmen was truly a full-sensory experience. Along the way, we stopped to catch our breath to hunt for some clams to eat once we returned. There were some crabs, class, and plenty of avian company, along with a spotting of blue-footed boobies and the local pelicans dining on sardines. I can't recommend the experience enough as we had a competent, local guide, quality ATVs, and fabulous scenery. Imagine...tooling around wide open, with the mountains jutting out of desert on one side, with the tranquility of the sea perpendicular. TRULY INSPIRING!!!! Muchas gracias por todos la hospitalidad. Muy impressionante.

My 2 adult sons (21 and 30) had a fabulous time on our ride. Richard contacted me to confirm our ride, ask about our preferences and experience for the ride, picked us up and dropped us off at our rental home. Our guide, Manuel, was wonderful as well. We went on a ride through the mountains, up and down narrow paths, all at a pace I was comfortable with. The sunset in the mountains was beautiful and Manuel took a stunning pic of my sons and I on horseback with the setting sun behind us.
I highly recommend this tour and this business for your rides in Loreto.

We visit Loreto every year and always book Scuba Diving, ATV'ing and Fishing.
This time we booked Rancho Quest for two of their excursions, ATV Tour and Cheese Making Tour, both were excellent! The Cheese making was very informative. Richie had a lot to share about the process and the life of a rancher out there. Got to milk a cow and a goat and then make the Queso fresco. Lots of different animals to visit with on the ranch. We also made fresh tortillas from scratch and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Great experience for the four of us! Atv'ing was another fun trip. We've been on numerous trips in the past so are very familiar with the terrain and the area and are experienced riders. We mentioned this to our guide and he had no problem stepping the ride up a bit for us. We started in town then near the beach then up in to the desert and back down onto the beach. It was a blast! Our guide was super friendly and went out of his way to insure we had a fun ride. We will definitely book these two tours again with Richie and perhaps try the horseback riding next time.

My brother and I had an amazing time horseback riding with minimal to no experience. We got picked up at our hotel one hour before our 4:00 pm reservation. Once you get assigned a horse, you’re on your way to amazing trails along the mountains and enjoying the fresh air. It’s was a good way to unplug from everything. They gave us lunch and a choice of beverage at break stop (I recommend the manchaca burrito’s). Everybody at Rancho Quest were very friendly and courteous. Put it on your to do list, we’re very happy we did. Viva Mexico

I was researching fun activities to do in Loreto and I came across Rancho Quest Horseback riding. I called them and they set me and my girlfriend up with an awesome horseback tour. Richard and Mayte were great and they welcomed us with open arms. Me and my girlfriend had no previous horseback riding experience but they made the ride fun, exciting and safe. We started off at the ranch and then had a relaxing beautiful horseback ride along the beach, I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful way to end our first day there. I highly recommend this adventure to everyone, it was a very intimate way of exploring Loreto and super fun! Thanks Richard and Mayte for an awesome time, we will definitely come back again and explore a different tour!

We just returned from an amazing horseback ride in the canyons near Loreto, the horses were so easy to ride and the staff was incredibly helpful. We did get to ride with the owners 7 year old son, which made it even more enjoyable. Eating delicious homemade burritos at the small waterfalls, also made us feel special. We highly recommend the morning canyon ride as well as, the sunset ride at the beach. Absolutely one of the best experiences in Loreto.

My daughter and I went on this great atv tour of Loreto! We enjoyed our experience greatly! Both of us are experienced riders and it was an awesome ride with great views. Our guide Jose was awesome,fun and was very knowledgable! Definitely recommend this to anyone.

Beautiful scenery along the beach and through an arroyo over streams and up to a waterfall. Our guide was positive, spoke english and helped us have fun. Getting picked up and dropped off at Loreto Bay Hotel was a bonus as well. Added a great dimension to our normal beach/island Loreto experience. We recommend it!

Oh my goodness! This excursion was so lovely. Our hosts were knowledgeable and instructions were clear. My husband is a seasoned bike rider but I have only been 4-wheeling once so I was a little scared. It was a breeze!!!!! We saw a side of Loreto we haven’t seen which is crazy since we have been coming for decades and own a house here! The waterfall was so beautiful and the foliage was quite the site since the recent hurricane. So very green. We can’t wait to come back and do this with our children. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Richard and his son led us through town and then into the foothills past some of the local flora and fauna while stopping on occasion to explain the how the land is used today. Very friendly and accommodating (patient with new riders). Can’t wait to go back and take one of their other tours!!!
