Unfortunately, the Museo De La Ballena has been permanently closed, there are no expectations that it will ever re-open.

Very interesting museum with a very nice gift shop attached. Located right on the Malecon of La Paz, in the center of everything, a few buildings down from Hotel Perla's restaurant. The museum is worth a visit.

We went on a last night tour of this great museum. Unfortunately it's closing it's doors. This was a great educational experience on the Marine life of la Paz and baja in general

This museum is very small, only about 3 rooms, but it packs a lot of information in, and it is very thoughtfully laid out. My 5 year old loves whales and greatly enjoyed the museum. He blew threw the whole place in about 20 minutes,...More

I'm kind of a museum junkie but hadn't visited this one on previous visits and was very glad I did this time. It's very educational and well worth spending some time exploring.
