We traveled from Topolobampo to La Paz and had an overall excellent experience! Even food they provided was very tasty. Cabins are strongly recommended: clean, relatively silent, with shower! We slept like babies! Live music and entertainment were also very pleasant.

If I could give this service a 0, I would. This is the worst experience ever in ferry for us. The company charges for every little thing, and they do not have the rules or rates for these charges written down anywhere. Paying the ticket...More

This company is lacking organization. I paid on line and still had to wait in line for more than 90 minutes to obtain a ticket. It would be nice if Baja Ferries would explain what to expect on line when you get there. Like the...More

This is a thing everyone should do once! I sailed from La Paz to Mazatlan. Beautiful crossing. Peaceful cruising with very clean room. The dolphins were very cute as well. We sailed and arrived on time, loading and off loading was easy and well organized.

Making reservation was very easy took less than 5 minutes. They offer free dinner as soon as you get in the boat, they have like a bar with live music, and they let you walk around the boat. We rented a cabin to sleep and...More

Actual ferry trip was smooth sailing. information flows within ferry operator are deficient. We had wanted-we and several others-to take ferry to Mazatlan as per their website. Ferry was cancelled until further notice but not so indicated on website.

Baja Ferries, Los Mochis, and Uber We took ferries from La Paz to Topolobampo and back. Our walk on experience : Being as it was a day time trip, we thought we would just enjoy being on the deck, enjoying the sea, perhaps spotting some...More

Ok, Admittedly, I speak Spanish, so things are easier for me in Mexico, but there's one review here calling the Ferry a 'HORRID bureaucratic process for US Residents' and I want to counter that. That driver, who has supposedly driven to Mexico many times, was...More

I bought mine online and upgraded to a cabin on the day of departure. You should have no problem getting a passenger ticket the day you sail. A vehicle might be a problem.

Like everyone else said, you have to have a closed crate or carrier for him. Though no one seems to check much on your way on the boat, they will have issue if you don't have a storage unit for your dog. They aren't... More
