After reading the reviews we've picked Baja Expeditions the day before the trip. We have booked a day at Espiritu Santo island plus 2 hours extension of the whale sharks snorkelling experience. When we were paying we've asked about the size of the group and were told it will be 4 of us. As we arrived at the office it... More

Went whale sharks watching yesterday. Despite windy seas it was a remarkable day. The whale sharks were like beings from another planet. But the highlight of the trip was our Swiss guide Debora Röösli. She was at once enthusiastic, knowledgeable, mindful, and extraordinarily compassionate with the guests someone of whom got a bit scared. She has a beautiful blend of... More

My husband and I went for a 2 day trip with Baja Exp. It was the best decision of our journey. Our guide, Debbie, was good fun, and very professional. Everyone was super nice (the captain, the cook.. ). It was what we expected, very "eco" and gentle with animals (no chasing, no intruding-just 4 of us snorkling quietly). We... More

We spend 3 days on the island... Its soo amazing. We would of stayed much longer! Its Paradise! The guide Helena was really nice and became a friend! The food is so good thanks to cooks Tony and Rafy. Fun happy hour with the best guacamole! The capitan Orion was nice enough to bring us twice to the whale sharks... More

We went on a snorkeling trip to this magical island. We had a small group, with Nacho (Ignacio) our guide and a fabulous boat captain (didn't capture his name). We had an outstanding experience. We navigated around the entire island, including some through some tight arches - great to see the entire island in all it's beauty. Snorkeling with the... More

We booked a tour through this company to see the whale sharks. It is not quite whale shark season yet (peak season is November to February) so Carolina suggested that we dedicate an entire day for whale sharks and another day for Isla Espiritu. We are so thankful for her help and suggestions. We just finished our tour with Nessi,... More

Wow! Just got back from a week-long trip with Baja Expeditions in the Sea of Cortez. We lived aboard the catamaran El Mechudo on a research expedition researching whale sharks. This is one of the adventures offered by Baja Expeditions. These creatures are not the least bit dangerous as they feed on plankton and small fish, but they are awesomely... More

We had a fantastic three day trip to their eco camp on Isla Espiritu Santos. Helene, our guide, adapted the schedule to fit our needs and interests. Juan Jose, our chef, cooked very delicious food made to our tastes and food preferences. The wildlife (whale sharks and sea lions and birds) and scuba diving and snorkeling were amazing but what...
