We booked a tour through this company to see the whale sharks. It is not quite whale shark season yet (peak season is November to February) so Carolina suggested that we dedicate an entire day for whale sharks and another day for Isla Espiritu. We are so thankful for her help and suggestions. We just finished our tour with Nessi,... More

We had the best experience with Baja Expeditions all around :-). Caro took great care of us in the office, Helene was a great snorkel guide, Toni an awesome captain and we had lots of fun Kayaking. The place to go for an unforgettable experience!!!

Wow! Just got back from a week-long trip with Baja Expeditions in the Sea of Cortez. We lived aboard the catamaran El Mechudo on a research expedition researching whale sharks. This is one of the adventures offered by Baja Expeditions. These creatures are not the least bit dangerous as they feed on plankton and small fish, but they are awesomely... More

We had a fantastic three day trip to their eco camp on Isla Espiritu Santos. Helene, our guide, adapted the schedule to fit our needs and interests. Juan Jose, our chef, cooked very delicious food made to our tastes and food preferences. The wildlife (whale sharks and sea lions and birds) and scuba diving and snorkeling were amazing but what... I highly recommend this eco-friendly tour company. The quality of their staff, accommodations, and food were all the highest possible. The naturalists are able to discuss varied aspects of the environment and living creatures abounding, and make you keenly aware of the inter-dependency of everything surrounding us.

We had a good sized group from Grandparents (us) to our 11 year old grandson. No promises were made, but the interactions we experienced were beyond all expectations. We all came to appreciate the world in which we live as well as the knowledge and expertise of the Baja guides and staff. Even without all of the photos and taken,... More

I have been on four whale watching trips with Baja expeditions from 1999 to 2016. Each trip has been a magical experience and to be able to now see my young cousins, nieces and nephews enjoy the whales is awesome. Throughout the years I've always experienced wonderful customer service, incredible food, very knowledgeable guides and lots of good fun. Jose... More

This was my second trip to San Ignacio Lagoon and it couldn't have been better. Friendly camp crew, great food, and fantastic encounters with the whales. If you looking for a knowledgable team and an off the grid experience, then make sure to book with Jose and his team.
