We went out with this group after the original company we booked( Onboard Baja) was full on the back up day we planned (the seas were too rough on the original travel day we booked which probably happens a lot). This company offered swimming with the whale sharks then swimming with sea lions , then lunch on the beach on Balandra . It was a coolish, cloudy day with very unusual light rain for early February, But that didn’t put a “damper” on it. We had an amazing time. Sophia was our guide. She has a marine biology background and knew a lot. She was awesome taking us in the water to swim with these absolutely beautiful creatures. It was a bit scary, but she calmed us and made us comfortable. The water was a bit on the chilly side, but they give you wet suits which helps. Our boat driver Lorenzo was also wonderful. He spotted the wildlife well. Also he played great tunes ( he’s a DJ in his other job). On our way to see the sea lion colony he also spotted a humpback whale . Very cool! And swimming with the sea lions was great. One came into the water and played with us! Our lunch on the beach was also nice . The ceviche was yummy as were the sandwiches.
This company was great, I highly recommend them.

We did the Espíritu Santo tour with three adults and four kids, with varying levels of swimming skill and seasickness. Everything about this tour was fantastic - communication before the tour was spot on, and we knew exactly what to expect, where to go, what was provided, and what we needed to bring. Our guide, Cristian, was knowledgeable with excellent English and the boat felt very safe in the hands of Lorenzo the captain. Cristian and Lorenzo were very patient with the kids, particularly when my son freaked out and stayed on the boat while the rest of us snorkeled. They were great about suggesting activities that worked for our group, taking us to a calm beach when everyone was clearly tired. Snorkeling with sea lions was amazing, and the scenery couldn’t be beat.

We travel quite a lot, but I rarely leave a review. This time is different. When all services from hotels , airlines etc, going down , this tour was a rare exception.
We bought the trip to the Islands (Isla Partida and Isla Esperito Santo ) . The crew was very professional and accommodating. Thank you , Sofia and Juan Carlos.
Snorkeling with sea lions was very unusual experience.
It was the highlight of our trip to Baja California. We drove the car 2.5 hours from Cabo San Lucas one way to go on the tour. It was worth every minute of it .
I hope we can come next time to join the Whale Shark tour, ( it was not available in early November ). Highly recommend this company . Friendly & professional team.
Reservations, confirmations, payments, meeting point, emails & texts all done professionally as well. Great service. Thank you, guys,

They do go all around the island.
Swimming with sea lions was one of my favourite experiences so far.
All you can drink beer all day long.
Great ceviche lunch, a lot of food left if you get hungry later.
Very professional but still friendly.
Good boat with 225 Honda engine.
They made an effort to spot whales and we ended up 5m to one. I didn't expect to do whale watching on this tour, nice!

We did the whale shark and sea lion trip and can highly recommend. Juan Carlos responded quickly to set it up and Sophia the guide was great. They are only putting 6 people on each trip due to covid which I really appreciated and they also take care to abide by the regs to protect the whale sharks.

We snorkeled several times with the whales sharks, the sea lions and then a great picnic set up on a beautiful beach in Balandra.

Highly recommended!!!!

It was my first down down to La Paz and I’m so glad I was able to go out with Tuna Tuna Tours. We snorkeled with the sea lions, went on a great hike, ate fresh ceviche on a private beach and learned a ton about the area. I will definitely be back for whale shark season, and I recommend anyone coming to the area should book a full day with Tuna Tuna, you will be extremely satisfied.

This was such a cool experience!! Our captain and guide were both wonderful and very knowledgeable. First we went to Espiritu Santo Island and snorkeled with friendly sea lions. They were playful, graceful, and incredible to watch up close. We also saw many, many tropical fish and coral. Then we headed to a small, gorgeous beach and had a delicious lunch! The water is so clear, it looks unreal. I saw multiple puffer fish in the shallows, along with some trumpet fish. Then we went to the famous Balandra beach which is absolutely stunning. Everything was epic and magical and I would absolutely book another tour with Tuna Tuna. I highly recommend purchasing a go pro for this excursion - you will get some incredible footage!

This was an breathtaking experience, literally!! One of the best thing we've ever done. Is a pretty easy y activity to do, because the whale shark swims pretty slow if you just stay next to it from a prudent distance (5-8 feet). We were advised no to touch the animal or go in front of it.
The crew is incredibly kind and nice. The equipment (wetsuits and snorkeling) were clean and really good quality.
I recommend tuna tuna a 100%

Everything about the experience was great: the boat was high quality, clean, and spacious - the boat captain Betto was insanely good at maneuvering (helped us recover a wind-grabbbed hat with ease) and the tour guide Pablo was super funny, friendly and did a great job. The scenery was indescribably beautiful- AND, to top it all off, lunch was delicious. This was the highlight of our trip.

Wow! What an amazing experience!! Ismael was an excellent guide and Alejandro was the best captain. My daughter was a little scared, but Ismael put her at ease and swam with her the entire time. We loved every minute of it. Big thanks to Ismael, Alejandro and Tuna Tuna Tours.
