Crystal clear waters, shoreline perfect for sun worshippers and sea shell hunters you can easily spend the day here. A couple of restaurants on the beach offering great menus with local and familiar yummies. Boat tours, kayaking, jet skis - all easily available. It’s about...More

This is a spectacularly nice beach! Flat, nice sand, and great views of Isla Espiritu Santo to the north. It was VERY windy when we were there, so we did not go in. Beach is flat - there were people 40 yards offshore with water...More

Balandra is beautiful, but we were ready for a bar when we reached El Tecolote! The water is beautiful and seemed very swimmable (we were busy drinking). FYI- we walked from Balandra to El Tecolote and it took about 30 minutes.

The water is crystal clear and blue as anywhere. Great place to swim, have a bite to eat and relax. Worth the effort to get there.

A windy beach. Is beautiful and next to balandra beach, the problem is that there are a lot of restaurants and the jet skis are making noise all the time. The cars get to close to the beach.

I didn’t rent any skis. The beach is a really long stretch of beach, and the whole area where I was was bare without any rentals and without any umbrellas or chairs. Just pure sand and ocean.
