As part of our tour we came to a wine tasting experience here. Two reds and two whites to taste and of course there was plenty of wine on offer for sale. Alongside the wine they produced salsa sauces and preserves and sold Tequila in many variations. I am nota wine drinker but tasted the two samples of white wine which were ok, I have had better. The two samples of red wine I only had sip of each and did not like either just not to my taste. The other tastings were of their preserves and salsas all of which were spicy and to hot in flavour for me. The best was kept to last at least in my opinion, we tried two different Tequilas, one was creamy and the other was clear and sweet. Both of these were very nice and I purchased a bottle of the sweet one.
Suitability for visiting; it really is an adults only type of visit but suitable for all abilities one person in our party was visually impaired and he enjoyed the tasting and the tour as much as everyone else. (there are toilet facilities on site)

This was a nice little place to visit on our wine tour. We got to pick 4 tastings . Some wines were tastier than others. Yes, the tasters are in little plastic cups, but we got generous pours in our party. We ordered a few tacos and sat in the pleasant seating area. The tacos were tasty , as were the many salsas that were provided. I ended up buying some bread, jam and salsa for the trip home. Our tour ended with some exploring of the grounds and tequila shots. I would definitely come back when in the area!

We to landed at La Casa de Dona Lupe as part of our cruise excursion Ensenada WineTour. This stop was very relaxing and had a family owned environment. Loved the roosters running about. The organic pizza and bakery was fabulous. Drink the wine to wash it down but it wasn't worth purchasing in my opinion. My Fiancé truly enjoyed the fresh made jalapeño bread. I enjoyed the affordable chair massage and live music. On our next trip out we intend to bring a book and relax for a while. Oh and be sure to try the olives!

Loved this winery! The honey wine is amazing!!! The food, jams, jellys, oils and salts were excellent. We loved being able to try all of the jams and marmalades. We would love to visit again during the summer season!

This was one of the two stops on our Winery Tour purchased through our Carnival Cruise, and while the wine was fairly awful, the setting was great and the chair massage was fantastic. I loved being out in the fields with the vineyards, horses and more, it was the kind of place I would love to host a rustic, evening outdoor party.

The two best parts about visiting here were the organic jams in the shop and the chair massage that was not only better than anything I got on the ship (and dirt cheap). I brought home two jars of organic jam and wish that I had known how good they were, because I would have filled a bag and brought more home. There is also a tasting bar at the back of the gift shop, and if you're chatty and really nice, you'll get to try all sorts of interesting flavored tequilas. We enjoyed our time at this makeshift bar much more than outside where the wine tasting and pizza (what???) was.

The chair massage was all of $5, and was supposed to take 10 minutes but when there were no other takers, my masseuse asked if I wanted her to keep on going. Ummmm, yes! She had strong, magical hands that made my neck and shoulders feel as though I hadn't had too much to drink the night before, which wasn't the easiest of feats to accomplish. Do make sure you tip these girls well, what they do is worth much more than they charge, and it is so much less than you would pay on the ship.

We were on the cruise excursion with the LA Cetto winery (see review) and we could not wait to return to this little gem! We sampled more of the liquors (and bought a couple) and jams and breads this time around- had the pizza and did the wine tasting- Dona Lupe was there and greeted us like we were family- you don't see much of a tour- but that's okay- the honey wine (for us sweet wine people) was the best of the day! The wines are a little more pricey- but you'll appreciate the effort that goes into them.. there were also cows in the field adjacent and an Indian performer - We will forget doing a ship excursion next time around and do a private tour that just comes here and spend more time minus the 100 other people. It is rather warm there and wear the bug spray as we got a few bites -

The best excursion the owner dona lupe come out to greet us to her home, we are welcome to her backyard, were we are served delicious honey wine, chesse, salsa and the best pizza I have ever tasted. The added bonus in an aztec dancer dancing as you are enjoying the winery views.

La Casa de Doña Lupe was the second stop on the winery tour offered by my cruise ship recently. It is located just a short drive from LA Cetto, the first stop. What makes this stop unique is that it is a ranch, not a large commercial winery. There are four wines for tasting, a white, two reds and honey wine. While I normally do not like sweet wines, the honey wine was very good. You are offered bread and cheese with your wine, and pizza is available for purchase. I'm not a wine expert, but I do consider myself to be a pizza connoisseur, and I definitely recommend it! Inside the shop, there are many jams, jellies, hot sauces and other products to sample. Don't miss the opportunity to try them all. Olive oil is also available for sale. I came home with three bottles of infused olive oil and two bottles of chipotle hot sauce. I will go here again the next time I cruise to Ensenada.
