Perfect “Do Your Own” Excursion on Cruise

We had an amazing experience with ATV Ensenada. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Wonderful communication prior to the he trip, and the ride was an outstanding experience.

We opted for the Hot Springs Tour. My boys are avid riders, and they were impressed with the selection of ATVs. Our guide, Homer, explained the rules, and then we were off. We started through the streets of town and in and out of some busy traffic, but Homer expertly guided us. After a few miles, we hit the mountain trails. We had a blast! Up the mountain, through water, and ending at the hot springs. The springs were so perfect after a long day. Homer kept us on track to make sure we made it back to town in time for some shopping.

Once back in town, we rode our ATVs into the shopping district. Homer guided me to stores that had exactly what I was looking for!

Do not hesitate to schedule your own trip separate from the cruise ship excursions. The team at ATV Ensenada is top notch. They were very mindful of our time constraints, and even with some slight mechanical difficulties, they ensured that we were taken care of and back to the ship with time to spare.

I absolutely can’t imagine a better day in Ensenada, and my family will never forget our adventure and the kindness of the staff of ATV Ensenada.

The only way to experience the San Carlos hot springs is by ATV with these guys!

Great experience from start to finish. My husband and I weren't sure if tours were running in July (because of coronavirus) but getting a response back from Emilio was immediate. He assured me that we had four ATV tour options available (blowhole, hot springs, mountains or wine tour). It was super easy coordinating with him on WhatsApp. We opted for the hot springs tour and our guide was Carlos. Such a fun day! The dirt road leading to the hot springs is perfect for an ATV and we thoroughly enjoyed the ride out there and back. The hot springs themselves (entrance $8) are extremely popular with the locals, so don't expect a secluded getaway. They are also somewhat basic, so go with realistic expectations. We enjoyed a 90 minute hot soak after the rugged ride up there. On our way back into town, Carlos took us to a great local taco joint for lunch before we dropped the ATVs off. The entire day was full of adventure and it was amazing having our own private tour with Carlos. Definitely a great way to see a different side of Ensenada. Highly recommend these guys!

Exhilarating Mountain Tour

Loved the mountain ATV tour! We were picked up at our cruise ship terminal and driven a short distance to the shop. We had a private tour with an amazing guide! It goes up into the mountains with some great ocean views and had time to cruise around in a large open space as well. Highly recommend.

A long drive on city streets with no off roading

This is a review for the RZR ZIPLINE COMBO (US$560.00).

For this experience you will be driving a 4-seater off road vehicle. The drive out to the Zip line is long, through heavy Ensenada traffic. You will also sign an agreement that states that the vehicles are not insured and that you are responsible for the cost of any damage to the vehicle, or other vehicle involved. Since this is not a standard vehicle rental it is doubtful that your credit card's insurance will cover any damage.

After completing the Zip Line/challenge course we started back towards Ensenada but there was no discussion about doing any off roading. We asked about this when we returned and were told it was not part of the program.

Staff were very pleasant and did take some fun pictures and videos at the zip line, but given the high cost and the experience of driving on the streets of Ensenada, I would not recommend this. Instead, I would take a taxi to the Zip line.

First of all my name is Emilio I’m the owner of the company and second, I want to apologize on behalf of my tour guide for not taking you off-road on our RAZER! I will fix this problem right away and make sure this never happens again we want our clients to leave with a great experience and and not feel they just wasted their money. I hope to see you again in the future so we can take you off road in our RAZER.

We were met by Emelio at the bridge when we got off our cruise ship. There was another couple with us and the tour we took was to the hot springs. I definitely was not ready for what was in store.

We had Homer and Enrique. They were FABULOUS! They took us to through the streets to get to the trail that took us all the way to the hot springs. Being that this was my first time on an ATV, I was more worried that it would be difficult to maneuver. I was wrong. It was pretty simple.

The ride took about an hour to get to the hot springs. We enjoyed our swim time there and ended the day at a local spot called "Tacos Puebla"! Food was unbelievable. Homer was our middle man and translator. Enrique was a man of few words, but he was so much fun.

Thank you ATV Ensenada. We will be back!!!

We've used ATV Ensenada twice in 3 years, and each time was different in terms of destination and the style of riding -- tailored to the ages of our 4 kids each time. Great service. Well organized. Love these guys!

Great communication and customer service

After reading reviews I booked this as a "shore excursion" for our family since our cruise ship didn't have an outing that appealed to us. I am extremely risk adverse and was so worried about booking something outside of the cruise line. I emailed Emilio TWICE with my worries about the concerns I had (timing of the adventure, which adventure we would choose, whether my young teens could drive,etc...) And both times he responded within minutes with answers to all my questions. We decided to book and the process was very smooth (deposit through Venmo with email\text instructions on where to meet up on the big day). Unfortunately, COVID_19 resulted in our cruise being cancelled and we didn't get to go! We reached out to Emilio and he refunded our deposit which we were very grateful for! We have rebooked our cruise for October and will definitely rebook with ATV Ensenada!

ABSOLUTELY A GREAT RIDE!!!

We arrived in Ensenada on a cruise ship and had booked this on our own. The three of us (67, 33 & 28) were met by Emilio at the bridge a short walk from the ship. We were joined by four others and were then transported to ATV Ensenada. Danny and Enrique were our guides. After a short ride through town we reached the trails. I have been on other tours and was concerned this might be slow and boring, it was anything but!! When we reached the free play area, Enrique took me to some other trails and pushed my to the best of my abilities. I was challenged and had an awesome time and ride! My son and girlfriend stayed at the free play area and had a blast as well. The next time I come to Ensenadaj, I will most definitely arrange another ride with Emilio and the gang!

The whole experience from start to finish was easy we Venmo’d a deposit. Then paid the rest of the balance in us cash. We felt safe. It was four of us and they gave us some time to practice. We had to 15 year olds that really wanted to ride and they looked for a safe spot for them up in the mountain that was flat and they were able to do so and they loved it!! If we ever go to Ensenada again I would definitely use our service again!

ATV Ensenada is awesome!!!

This was definitely one of our highlights on our weekend getaway. Riding the ATVs in the picturesque mountains of ensenada is pretty awesome. You get some amazing views while you are up there. My son is hooked and wants to do it again. For sure we will be back to do the hot springs tour next. The owner Emilio and his wife are very welcoming. Our tour guide Israel was awesome. Very patient and a good instructor. I highly recommend ATV Ensenada to everyone!!! Can't wait to be back. Btw everyone speaks English. So if you aren't bilingual you are good to go.
