We had a fabulous trip on the liveaboard Rocio Del Mar diving our way down the entire length of the Sea of Cortez. My husband and I have been on numerous liveaboards and we really believe that the Rocio Del Mar has the best layout of any we have been on. The cabins are nice with enough room with comfy... More

I did a live aboard sailing course on the Sea of Cortez with Nautilus Sailing. It was a fantastic experience. The Sea of Cortez was absolutely amazing. It was my first time to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sailing course with Tim Geisler as our captain and instructor. Tim is a seasoned sailor and passionate instructor. He made the... More

Beautiful water and excellent spot fishing all year round. Clear water (seeing my feet is important to me,) and gentle waves in San Carlos make for perfect beach days!

Some folks are beginning to call it the Dead Sea of Cortez. Illegal catches and longliners have drastically diminished the fish populations in recent years; it's sad. There are occasional catches, but it's pathetic compared to 15-20 years ago. The best place to hire a boat is Hotel Pescadera, on the north side of town. Her crews do a great... More

Ted was a phoenominal instructor and captain. I love the desert, mountains, blue sky, and the sea. The Sea of Cortez is blessed by an abundance of all. I earned three certifications on board and cannot wait until I have the opportunity to use the experience and training I received. I'd recommend this program to anybody who has a strong... More

Absolutely amazing. Not only did I receive my ASA certification, but I had an amazing trip. With our terrific instructor, Ted, we sailed, explored islands, hiked, snorkeled, swam with sea lions, and learned a lot. The trip and course were very well done and I am looking into doing a flotilla with Nautilus Sailing.
