People were wonderful and the whales were especially friendly. Mother's were proud of their offspring and brought them close to the boats. The operations were well planned for minimal impact to the whales, but left plenty of opportunity to see and interact with the whales...More

An amazing area to see the whales, birds, kayak and get away from the typical Mexican whale experience. Check carefully about the different camps. The location makes a difference in the amount of time you spend in the boat versus with the whales. Go with...More

Just wonderful.Whales everywhere - the grey females with their babies. The local panga drivers are very skilled and know exactly how to approach the whales - which then take it upon themselves to surge up to under, round the boat begging for tickles. Could not...More

This is the second time I visited San Igancio. The first time I went, we camped at the lagoon. I don't really recommend that as the temps can get quite cool and it's often windy. Campsites are pretty rustic. Trade-off is you save the 30-40...More

Wonderful place for whale watching. Long ride from town to the lagoon but well worth the trip. We used Antonio’s Ecotours and were very pleased with the service and we had a lovely lunch after the tour right at their palapa. Great fun

I've always wanted to get close to whales but this trip surpassed all expectations. I went with Wildlife Worldwide. Flying over to San Diego then a small plane the next day down the Baja peninsular for 6 days of whale watching at Antonios on the...More

We booked a day out with Pachico's Eco tours and it was well worth it. It was a long, and in the last few kilometres, quite a difficult drive to get to the boat launch on the lagoon, but well worth it in the end....More
