Took the half day tour, and got picked up from our hotel around 830am. Driven out to the pier and had great fun for 3-4 hrs.
The guides were friendly and playful, yet displayed good knowledge and emphasized safety when necessary. They also provided a waterproof bag to place your belongings if you wish, and also light refreshment and fruits at the end of the tour. The guides did not ask for tips, and were all in all very accomodating
We also purchased the souvenir photograph at a very fair price of 100THB.
We paid only 400 after bargaining with various tour agencies, and that works out to approximately 100THB/Hr for a kayak AND a guide.
Great fun for the whole family

We are very happy with the guys at Lets Go. The intended guide was sick but Harun was good also.
There's no rushing, you can take your time to admire the scenery and take pictures.
Now about the food feast afterwards. It was the best meal we had in Ao Nang with a lot of dishes, desert and fresh coconut straight from the tree. They even took the time to prepare vegetarian food for us. Mind blown

I was picked up right on time at my hostel. The guides were very friendly and knew a lot about the area. There was no rushing, so we got the time to take photos - the route was just stunning so bring your camera.
After around 2 hours they brought us to a really good lunch :)
All in all a great experience !

Great trip, amasing scenery. Saw a lot of interesting caves, but the best part of the trip was our guide. Kim was very interactive and he absolutely loves his job and made the trip even more fun!!

Overall not bad but something was lacking! Maybe the guides could interact bit more with tourists! As in the group there were only two english speaking person and rest were thai, the guide didnt seem to be very much interested that we are there.... more information would be great... Lunch at the end of kayaking - hahahahhaaa.... two slices of watermelon, slice of pineapple and bottle of water

Travelled an hour from Krabi by shuttle to the Ban Bor Thor pier where we began a 1.5 km paddle through the mangroves. The first cave we came to was an enclosed lagoon where we were lucky enough to see monkeys. We then kayaked to our next stop where we left the kayaks and walked through a cave which had been carved out over millions of years which had a couple of ancient paintings. The third and final cave you had to manoeuvre carefully through, it was an excillarating kayak. On our arrival back to the pier we had a very sumptuous lunch.
Lunch was followed by a swim where the salt water mangroves meet the fresh water. Lovely boardwalk but the one place you were allowed to swim seemed to be the least desirable, but definitely worth seeing.
The only negative was that we were only offered warm bottles of water throughout the day. Lunch provided the only cold drink of a long hot day.

We had a great time kayaking on the 1/2 day tour with Let's go Kayaking Krabi. We were picked up at our hotel, a little later than we were initially told, but it wasn't a big deal because we loved the view from our hotel lobby (Amari Vogue Krabi-reviewed separately), so we just sat and waited. We then picked up the other visitors and headed to the water. I had never kayaked before and was unsure if I would be able to keep up! The day we went, there were 4 other people who had booked also, so with all of us, there were 3 kayaks with 2 people in each following our guide. Our guide explained how to kayak and we were off. The views, including the mangroves were amazing. Our guide explained a lot about the environment to us while we went. We also went through a narrow area and into the jungle with monkeys. A monkey jumped onto our kayak, which was a little alarming, but it jumped off and we were ok!! After we got back to land, we were given fresh watermelon and pineapple which really hit the spot and we were driven back to our hotel-back around 2pm. I was a little sore the next day, but am really glad we went! I would recommend this activity if you are in the area!

Did the kayaking in krabi and it was too good...did it with my husband and my teenage son and 9 year old daughter. Thought it would be though but we managed it quite well. The guide was really good more of a moral support as we had a kid. My first ever kayaking experience and was worth it..

Just returned from a fantastic trip this morning, half a day river kayak in Ao Thelane, pick up from the hotel was on time and in a minibus rather than the rickety open back vans, full briefing on how to use the kayak given, safety brief also given including life jackets. Our Guide Bilan was careful to ensure the group stayed together catering for everyone's pace. The trip itself breath taking, once you enter the canyon where the mangrove trees are its another world. We saw giant insects, monitor lizards and also a cheeky monkey. You are out for about 2 hrs in the kayak so bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. A fab trip!

We had two trips into the beautiful mangrove forests and had the excellent guide Martin to ourselves. So much of southern Thailand is too touristy but this was a lovely personal quiet outing with decent quality kayaks into the lovely mangroves. So peaceful and we saw a crab eating macaque. It is very reasonably priced and about two mins walk from the Poonsiri Resort. Take a left out of the Poonsiri and then first road on the left. Would really recommend this activity.

Bonjour,
