The locals refer to the night market in Ao Nang as the Ao Nang walking street - this is on Wednesdays. They also have a bigger night market in Krabi town on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I think the travellers here are referring to the main district where all the massage parlours and little shops are at here.
