One of the best attractions in Aonang
Mar 2020 • Couples
This quiet attraction is not listed anywhere in Aonang, only tours to other islands. We decided that we wanted to do something different to everyone else and found this little gem. Certainly got the adrenaline going but very informative, staff were friendly found that they really care for the snakes. Really had no interest in seeing the monkeys, I’ve seen them before on my other travels and don’t like them. But these snakes were definitely a wow factor and worth the price to see them. Snake handler was very responsible and respectful about these snakes. Definitely worth a visit

We had a blast!
Dec 2019
At first we drove by and missed the entrance, so we were not sure about this anymore. On top of that, we were a bit late and decided to only have a look at the snakes only. The young lady (sorry, we forgot to ask for her name) who guided us around was however so enthusiastic and funny that it made the trip to this snake farm more than worthwile. Do not understand the hustle about the price.

Heart breaking experience , these animals have no quality of life.
Jan 2020 • Couples
Very sad experience - beyond cruel to animals. The monkeys are tied up by the neck and are very possibly cruelly trained with no freedom. Complete exploitation of animals. I wish people would do something to have these poor monkeys released in a sanctuary where they can have some sort of quality of life. :(

Expensive but worth it
Dec 2019 • Family
Always concerning when prices are not advertised, arrived by short taxi ride to discover adults 1,000 baht and children 500 baht is 3,000 baht ($AUD 150 )

But turned out to be worth it!

Their snake handling skills are amazing , probably mixed with a big dose of courage, no doubt aided by the knowledge of a nearby new hospital with anti venom

The owners will take photos for you , close ups of the snakes and photos of you handling a variety of snakes at no extra charge which was a refreshing change

The king cobra show was a highlight, the whole family was impressed .

And we saw a very interesting monkey show too, not the fake kind but a genuine caring owner with his pet monkey who was trained to retrieve coconuts

We were glad we did this, you spend almost 2 hours there , guided around then the shows, ask questions because these people have plenty of answers, they love their snakes and so did we

Disheartening.
Sep 2019 • Couples
This is the most heartbreaking thing I have seen in Thailand. The animals are essentially tortured, especially the monkeys.
It is disgusting how cruel some humans can be.

My son loved it
Jul 2019 • Family
My son visited there and loved it. He's a nature lover and interested in reptiles and had a field day there. Luckily he was the only one so got one on one session with the handlers and the reptiles. great for kids.

Family visit
Apr 2019 • Family
Came here for the afternoon with my family as we were looking for something to do after a morning by the pool. It's a funny old place but the shows were genuinely entertaining. Price wise it cost us 4800thb for four - so not cheap. This was 600thb for the Monkey Show and 600thb for the Cobra Show, I think. Transport to and from the Centara by Centara was included. One of the guys actually got bitten by a mangrove snake whilst he was showing us their lunge in the ring. It all rather brought it home...

Fun and enjoyable visit
Apr 2019 • Family
My 2-year-old daughter absolutely loved this place.
We had initially thought to both see the snakes and the monkeys, with the monkeys as the favourite attraction (my daughter love monkeys) but we didn't brought enough cash and they didn't took credit card so we decided to skip the snake part.
However, they took mercy on my daughter and we had a great tour of the snake pits and could both have pictures taken and hold a snake. They were explaining about the different snakes as we went through the different cages.
Don't know if there are more to the snake tour normally but we got enough to keep us all interested and entertained.

The main event was the monkeys. They had two very adorable monkeys which was training for different things, like taking down a coconut and we could feed them and pat them. My daughter was mesmerised and have talked about it the entire stay and even after returning from Thailand.

I had my doubts about going there because I want to make sure the animals is treated properly and isn't in harm or pain. Of course I can't be sure but it seemed like a good place where the animals was treated good and their caretakers was interested in their well-being.

Would recommend, especially for children

Interesting show despite my fear of snakes
Feb 2019 • Couples
My partner and I decided to visit despite my absolute fear of snakes. We booked via a street vendor and was collected from our hotel. When we arrived a snake was in the ring I explained I was terrified and that no I did not want to go near the snakes nor did I want my photo taken the staff were very respectful of this. My partner was happy to have his photos taken and he even joined in the show!
I sat at the back and did enjoy the show as the staff were great with the snakes and very informative. Lots of photos opportunities for my partner and he really enjoyed it.
Also stayed for the short monkey show before we were driven back to our hotel. In all we were out just over an hour!!

Better than expected
Jan 2019
If you get the right price for this show, then its a 100% hit. I went there with my family in Jan mid. Wife and daughter were a bit reluctant initially, but in no time they were as excited as I was throughout the show. Two young guys managing everything, very comfortable handling venomous snakes. These guys are pro and they actually make effort to make you comfortable before the show. They even fed king cobra on our request, just so you know king cobra's favorite food is other snakes...Entire highlight of the show was King Cobra. In case you are in Aoo Nang area, this show is not to be missed...Amazing experience, I'm sure you can;t get this in your country....
