This beach on the western side of Ao Nang is very quiet by touristic area standards. It is lined by some of the best seafood restaurants and resorts, but no crowd or hassling or loud music and not many longtail boats passing by. One thing that makes it not so enticing is that there is no real seafront promenade, and... More

This beach is not as well kept as all the other beaches, there seems to be a bad smell all the way along this shoreline. At weekends and each dinnertime this beach gets busy with the local people and they tnd to leave their rubbish behind in spite of mnay litter bins available. There are plenty of bars and restaurants... More

Noppharathara Beach is not as nice as Rai Ley or even Ao Nang. Brown water, average view, more than the average amount of trash washing up.

Nice quiet beach, not easy access especially for pushchairs but it's a long beach and lovely sunsets.

The harbour has no infrastructure or tourism information. Its only a landing stage for the long tail boats, the Centara Beach Hotel boat shuttle and the ferries. The beach is full of waste.

Ao Nang beach and Noppharathara beach are just near by, and they are joined. So, just walk from Ao Nang beach to Noppharathara. More ppl there and more tide to enjoy. Water is not so clean though.

Nice beach for a stroll or sun tan as compared to Ao nang beach. There are also some shops and restaurants along the beaches to explore.

we lived in a lovely Hotel the Holiday Inn but unfortunately the beach is terrible. The pools in the hotel are amazing so you don't miss the beach at all. But if you want to walk or swim here, its highly avoidable. Choose the other beaches in Krabi for that!

Beach is okay. Area opposite the beach is less commercialized as compared to Ao Nang and has some nice restaurants and shops. Given that its so close to Ao Nang, certainly worth a visit.
