Great Beach and Park for walking

Very, very small beach ; in the afternoon there is full of little crabs :) ; but if you go to the beach that is near the rocks in the picture, there are just a few tourists and it's bigger and beautiful

We enjoy our morning walks while on holiday so was so glad to find this beach. It is backed by a park which is narrow at the Ao nang end but widens gradually. On the days the tide is out & its not too hot, we walk along the beach, there are a few entry points into the park from... More

Large sandy looking beach. Have a look when the tide goes out there is raw sewerage. We picked up a long boat off the beach and when we returned in the long boat we were dropped off virtually in the sewerage at the end that is next to Ao Nang beach. We were both extremely poorly with diarrhoea and vomiting... More

Not so much place to lay down. But after sunset you can sit there and dine local food from street. Try that.

White sand and clear water. A beautiful beach. There are tons of places to get food and drinks and changing rooms and toilets that are quite clean. It does get really busy on the weekends though, with locals picnicking along the beach, which makes the whole beach smell delicious! However, if you want a quiet spot, this isn't really the... More

Dirty and smelly, even more narrow than Ao Nang, there is a small river that smells of sewage that ends on the beach, right next to where the longtails to Railei / Rai Lei take/drop you, and you need to get in the water knee deep to access the longtails. On the way back we were told to get off... More

I think karon phuket is better then krabi beach.. there s no wave. The water is not crystal clear. And if low tide it can be very very long to the beach.

Noppharathara beach is a fantastic way to spend a lazy day with the family. It offers more privacy than Ao Nang, the beach itself isn't as crowded and the shallow clear water is perfect for a swim. Great place for a picnic by the sea too. Definitely worth a visit.
