My friend and I went on the 4 islands tour on the Orchid speedboat and was disappointed. Our first stop was some of the caves in Railay and according to the description of the tour, this part was supposed to be a guided swim. It wasn’t. My friend and I swam ourselves and did our own “tour” of the caves. We then went snorkeling near chicken island, which was fine but there was not many fish to see. We then stopped at a sandbar between two islands close together. It was so crowded because so many tours stopped here. It was quite unpleasant. Lastly, we went to Poda island for lunch. The lunch was decent. We were on the island for an hour and 45 minutes and that was way too long. My friend and I ate and swam a bit but were bored for most of that stop. Overall, all of the stops we made were overrun by other tours and it was hard to enjoy the sights and views with so many other people and boats around. Our boat was fine, it was a little small for the amount of people on it. There was also only a small outdoor space to sit when the boat was moving. I would not recommend this tour to other people. I would splurge for a private tour or look for a tour that leaves earlier in the morning to beat the crowds.

Want to spend much of the day on a bumpy speedboat looking at your fellow tourists more than enjoying the view? This is the tour for you! Shadeless beach stop, photo ops too short to snap a photo and snorkeling (without fins) that might be interesting if this is your first time. Otherwise not interesting at all. Take a boat to Monkey Island instead, the monkeys are very cool.

DO NOT DO THIS BOAT TRIP. THE GOOD: The staff is nice. The food at lunch was decent. THE BAD: SO.CROWDED. You cannot imagine how crowded this trip is. From the boat itself to every single island stop- there are way too many people. This was an unfortunate waste of a day in Krabi. I would not recommend this to anyone. Lots of kids. Nothing about this trip is enjoyable. Major tourist trap. Pay a longboat driver to take you around for a day.

What a horrible experience. -From the beginning thirty people is a boat that would normally take max 12. -3 of the places advertised we didn’t really go to and just saw from the boat. -The meal was disgusting, see images for Yourself. -we caught a storm and instead of turning back, they took us to the last stop and made us pay an extra 400 bht even though rain was so thick we couldn’t see. The whole situation of 30 ppl in a small boat in the middle of a storm felt less than safe. Definitely safety standards are not taken into account. This felt massively touristy, with other 4 Orchid Speedboats (min) plus other tours with you at every stop. I wouldn’t not recommend under any circumstance.

Staff was great and picked both me and my boyfriend m up in Railay as planned and on time. We were about 25 people and it was in June during the rainy season. Our guide was really nice and helpful. Me and my boyfriend were sat at the end of the boat ... and it was the best decision of our lives. The weather was ok, it was very cloudy and a lot of wind so the waves were big. I am not a sea sick person, going to Bamboo Island was ok though I was not feeling well at the beginning. The boat goes very fast and I think everyone was a bit surprised on how fast... Bamboo Island was beautiful with .... a lot of tourists! some of us were quiet just happy and chilling while others were screaming and yelling which was a bit annoying and not respectful but anyway.. Then we went to Phi Phi and enjoy swimming ... though as a lot of boats “park” there it was like we only had a small part to swim like in a kindergarten, a bit weird but hey you have what you pay for, it is cheap for a reason. Then I think we went to see the Monkey Cave which was a disappointment: 2 mns max and the best to catch a picture wins. Then lunch.... or whatever they call it. My advise is to skip this free lunch, because it is honestly not good and go buy something nicer in Koh Phi Phi, there are plenty of tourists restaurants just next to the cantine (they give you an hour and a half of free time) Then you go snorkeling and to be honest it was the best part of the trip ! Staff were so nice and helpful and we enjoyed it a lot. Then back to Railay and this was honestly hard not to get sick for a lot of us, only one person threw up. My advice is : don’t go if you expect something private and luxurious with a whole island for yourself like when Leo Dicaprio discovers Maya Beach... be realistic. You pay a small amount of money, you can drink water as much as you want, the staff is here to help and can live thanks to your money not the contrary so be respectful and stop complaining about tourists: you are one too ! If you are not happy then pay more on a private tour. Don’t go if you are sea sick (it handle it, it might worth it after all) or if you have important backaches. Otherwise : consider yourself lucky and try to enjoy the tour as much as you can even if it is not as perfect as you would have liked it to be. And you will spend a nice day as we did.
