The place has a variety of local snakes, the guide showed and explained about the different types and gave a lot of interesting information. Let
We got to take pictures with snakes and then there was an interactive show of 4 types of snakes, seasoned with humor. We had a great time, a recommended experience

Snakes are well looked after and staff are very careful and responsible around them. Staff are also very knowledgeable on all facts surrounding the snakes and are great at educating us. The show was great fun, snakes were respected and nothing got out of control. Snake handlers had great control the whole time. Very inclusive, had us in the snake pit with the snakes!! And the commentator loved to
Make jokes 🤣 awesome experience definitely reccomend.

Very interesting and educational show, hardworking staff, good with kids, apart from the show this place is also dedicated to snake conservation and rehabilitation. Recommended if you want a break from beaches and pool activities. Located about 5-10 mins away from our hotel in Ao Nang. Snake show is just about an hour and is scheduled every 2 hours or so. Ticket price included pick up from our hotel and drop off. Discounted price for young children.

Me and my girlfriend arrived there and at first it was really interesting seeing breeds of snakes we've not seen before. Then you realise most of the snakes have injuries which they claim are from its skin peeling ! Which is a lie I have owned a snake and know a fair bit about them a snake shedding its skin does not cause massive open wounds all over its body. One has a bleeding, bright pink nose which he again claimed that it was due to peeling, but it was actually due to him teasing it close up to the cage so it went to bite him only to ram its head into the cage wire, causing the wound! 17 massive pythons kept in a cage about 6 foot long and two foot wide, it was sad to see. Do not go if you are an animal lover please because i massively regret funding what I thought would be a fun experience, Instead it was a shock. The show itself lasts 15 minutes and was okay gets pretty tidius and awkward when they wait for a tip at the end. The worst was still to come as they said we get to see the monkey show, we really didnt want to but our curiosity of how these may be kept over came us. It was so sad i felt like crying the gibbons eyes are so sad and weak likes he's given up, theyre cages are so small just big enough for it to stretch its arms. Other monkeys tide up have soars and wounds on them and look like they have gone insane just walking aimlessly around in circles all looking at you with weak pleading eyes. The staff get arsey when they noticed we where not impressed and knew our stuff on the gibbon trade in thailand, it got very awkward. Someone with authority needs to go and see this and take these poor animals away. Please dont fund these brutal men that choke and threten these animals when they dont do what they are told. Not to mention the half dead chickens walking around the place. Its just awful dont go!!!

Our kids wanted to see the snake show so I tried to search for information online and couldn't find anything. So we flagged down a tuk tuk to take us up the hill - was charged 300 baht for the return trip which I thought was reasonable - until I read the other reviews here about the trip up the hill being included in the ticket price!

On entry, there was absolutely no ticket information on show. They just told us that it would be 800 baht each for my husband and I and 400 baht for the kids. And then they said that our 12 year old was an adult price! My kids really wanted to come and we had already paid for the tuk tuk so I didn't say anything - just handed over my 3,200 baht for the 5 of us ..... (Yes, now I feel stupid! I wish I didn't have that much cash on me cause that would have given us a great reason to barter the price, or walk out of there). So to say I was pissed off about the price is an understatement - we could have gone on a private speedboat tour for the same price!

We were the only ones there so we were given a quick walking "tour" of the poor snakes locked up in the cages. At every cage the trainer poked and prodded and even threw rocks at the snakes, to get a reaction.

We were then led into the show area and because we were the only ones there, they made us wait about 15-20 minutes for others to arrive. In the meantime the trainer got out a small snake and put it around my husband's neck for a photo opportunity. He then went on a bit too much about how our 8 year old wouldn't go near the snake - to the point that she was almost in tears. He then engaged us in idle chit chat until the show started.

The show was okay - lots of poking and prodding of snakes to get a reaction. The "compere" was unusual to say the least.

After the show finished they asked us if we wanted to see the monkey show - no thanks. We got out of there as soon as we could.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone ....

We stumbled across this when our tuk tuk driver mentioned it to us and probably one of the more memorable things we saw on our trip as we would never have seen this anywhere else.

The actual snake show is crazy, with the charmers actually kissing and playing with deadly snakes. Don't want to say anymore but definitely worth a watch if you want to see something different

We made our way to the King Cobra Show as it was on my sons holiday wish list.
I expected them to run shows throughout several intervals during the day & night but this was not the case.
We were the only ones at the time of arrival & therefore we had a private show which I was hesitant about at the start but in hindsight I appreciated the extra attention we received.
We were 1st given a walk through the garden to see the various snakes (in cages)
We then watched the show itself & each one of us were encouraged to interact & had the snakes wrapped around our legs!
Be ready to tip after the show as this is expected (we gave one tip for the 3 men doing the show but I think each one of them expected their own seperate tip)
We only paid for the snake show but were asked if we wanted to stay & see the monkey show too (in a bid to get more tips from us I think)
We stayed for this but I wouldn't bother paying extra for it as it is not as impressive as the snake show & will more than likely be offered to you free of charge anyway.
The men running the show were very friendly & knowledgable about the different varieties of snakes, just be willing to pay extra on top of the entry price to tip them as we felt pressured to do so (being the only ones there at the time)
Overall the king cobra show was worth the money we spent & a great experience for our family.

Arrived there with the wife - lady saw us pull up in a jeep. Rather than ask us to pay 500 baht each (standard price, according to other trip advisor folk) she asked for 800 baht each. I didn't bother arguing as it was low season and I could tell they were dead quiet.

Tour around snake cages was great - chap who showed us around was lovely but struggled ever so slightly with English. Cool kid though and was usefully informative. Tour lasted 15-20 mins and I was able to go into the python cages.

Was given a python to hold and it was great. Also staff offered to have it wrapped around my legs (as wife and I were the only two watching the show at the 50 seater stadium). I was in agony though (as the snake was squeezing my two ankles together - staff weren't massively bothered about my screams so just be careful!!)

The show was.... genuinely... amazing. Heart in mouth, throughout.

Not to be missed, I think.

Oh, they forgot to show us the monkey show but I didn't want to see because reviews here suggested it was cruel.

Would have been 5 stars had the lady at the front not charged us 50 per cent more for a laugh.

We visited the snake show because of the cheap price. There were only 2 other guests with us. The snakes look really unhappy and bad. The get frustrated and don't want to become a member of this show. We felt bad to come in to this area.
Hint: Mind this area and go to better place!

Don't really like snake shows but had to tag along for family unity. Impressive collection of caged snakes surrounding performance arena. With no other visitor we got a show exclusively for us though perched as far away from the snakes as we could. The guy really kissed the cobra and finally revealed his secret how he does it but we won't tell... Entrance thru shop for all kinds of things but if you don't want to buy nobody pesters you. The monkey show though is appalling, skip it if you can. Ok for a longer stay, not a must if short in time.
