About
Kon-Tiki Krabi is a PADI 5-star Center established in Ao Nang, Krabi for 20 years. Our two boats – Tiki Star and Tiki Legend – will take you on full day and half day diving and snorkeling trips to the amazing sites of the Phi Phi Islands, Ao Nang Archipelago, Shark Point and Koh Haa Yai (Lanta Marine Park) in safety, comfort and style. Group sizes are small so that we can provide the best service. We also offer a range of PADI diving courses from beginner programs through to PADI Pro level, conducted by our highly experienced, international Instructor team. We are proud to partner with Aqualung, Shark Guardian, Project Aware, Trash Hero and the SSS Recompression Chamber. Our dive shop is located in Ao Nang, right in front of the Sugar Marina Resort – we’re open from 9am-9pm every day - drop by to pick up a new mask or rashguard and check out our trips and courses while you’re there – we’d love to see you!

We completed our PADI Open Water diver certification with Kon-Tiki & we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Prior to the trip the communication with Angela was speedy & fantastic. E-Learning was provided ahead of our trip so that we could focus on the practical elements. Kevin our instructor went above & beyond to ensure we had a confident, safe & enjoyable time whilst learning entirely at our own pace. The whole Kon-Tiki team were a joy to be around & we would fully recommend anyone at any level to snorkel / dive / learn with these guys. 🇹🇭🐠

It was our pleasure to take you on your journey to become a PADI Open Water Diver, good communication before the course is very important so that when you arrive you are completely ready to start. Kevin is a very patient instructor who will always go the extra mile to make sure that we continue to make great divers. Happy bubbles👌

My sister and I completed our Open Water Dive certification with Kon Tiki in Ao Nang and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The crew were exceptional and attentive and most of all incredibly friendly and easy to talk to.
Kevin was a fantastic instructor who was patient, and very professional throughout the whole course.
Another special mention to Dylan and Jen who were great with all the divers and snorkellers onboard.
On the last day of our course we brought our dad along as a snorkeller and the team were incredibly welcoming.
We had a family with a 6 year old onboard and Jen was great in ensuring her safety and comfort whilst still showing her the wonders of the island reef.
The captain of the dive boat was super attentive with pickups and manoeuvres, and was very helpful with getting everyone in and out of the water.
We could not recommend this enough, we had an amazing time and will definitely be back!!

Good dive center. Best dive boat I’ve been on so far. 2 decks, top deck for food and chilling, lower deck for the scuba stuff. Professional staff with multi lingual instructors, and 1-3 divers pr guide depending on skill and preferances. They go to Phiphi island 3 times a week and thats worth the 2-3 hour comtable ride. The boat is BIG and very stable, no one got sick. Dont go for the cheap scuba senters, they stick you on a longtail and drop you in a random spot. We went to the two Bida islands near Phiphi, steaming with life and spotted Leopard shark, blacktip, turtles, and lots more. Good food too, and free soft drinks all day😁. I found no faulty equipment on anyone.

What an amazing dive company! My family of 4 did a day of diving at Phi Phi Islands (with my kids doing their Nitrox course through Kon-Tiki) and a day of snorkelling.
Their pick up was prompt and efficient, the equipment in good condition, the dive masters and instructors were knowledgeable, capable and great.
Water, soft drinks and electrolytes, tea and Coffee were available throughout the day, as we're bananas. They provided a muffin as a snack before the first dive/snorkel and lunch after the last dive/snorkel with fruit for dessert.
The dive/snorkel sites were chosen well according to the weather and viz on the day.
Steve and his crew were amazing.
I really hope to be back!

All our diving and snorkeling staff have been working in the area for a long time and can be trusted to find the best locations on any given day due to weather, water conditions etc.

I had a fantastic experience at Kon-tiki Krabi dive centre, where I completed my Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Nitrox certifications. The dive centre runs a professional operation with top-quality boats and well-maintained equipment. The staff are both friendly and knowledgeable, with a special shout out to my instructor, Kevin, for his excellent teaching and patience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dive in Krabi!

Kon-Tiki is a very professional and well-run dive company. Everything from the bus to the boat was on time and organized. The boat crew was friendly and prepared great food. The dive instructors were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable of the area.

Visited Krabi for a week, dived with these guys across 2 days, doing 5 dives, sites were fantastic, rented equipment and was all very easy to use and clearly well maintained.
Had DM Mark on my first day and immediately I knew I'd come across a well trained and very experienced diver who was a great guide, around the fringing reefs of local Ao Nang islands. Since it was just the two of us diving together, we got to know each other quickly and maxed out our bottom time in the beautiful coral reefs with different eels, rays, sharks, stonefish in a brisk 31dg temp!!
On the second day I was with instructor Justine who was a great young guide, joined by a family, of which, were a lovely group of people and I thoroughly enjoyed my time diving with Kon-tiki Krabi.
Can't forget the great supply of food and beverage on board, which was sorted by the crew, who kept everything topped up throughout the day, as I make my way home, Massaman Curry is my new food crush...
Will be back soon!

Amazing trip. Two 50+ min in the water snorkeling. We saw plenty of fish, the water didn't have great visibility but near the rocks we saw quite a lot.
The team was great, the tour didn't have too many people, 6 diving and 4 snorkeling. Perfect weather and good food on board.
I highly recommend this, especially for snorkeling (the divers were also very happy with their tour).

OMG ~ awesome , great recreational dives , Rescue course was challenging and so rewarding , the best course we have done . Dylan (or should I now call you Manuel !) thank you for your help support and being a one of the best and favourite instructors , Jen also for being such a great, relaxed and trusting victim ! 😂

Kon Tiki delivered a perfect, personal diving experience at the Phi Phi Islands. Koh Bida Nai and Koh Bida Nok offer a great scuba experience with thousands of yellow snapper. It was like diving in an aquarium.
We enjoyed very personal service from our dive master, Ben, along with very informative and professional oversight on the boat from Thomas. The entire experience as world class. We felt safe and the Kon Tiki team provided plenty everything we needed, including a great Pad Thai lunch.

It depends a bit on what you want. You can either do the entry level Open Water Diver course and become a certified diver, or if you would just like to try you can do the Discover Scuba Diving program.

Yes we do have Spanish speaking instructors but unfortunately we do not do any trips at the moment as our boat is undergoing her yearly maintenance.

Depending if you go on a 2 or 3 stop day you will have 2 or 3 hours inwater activity..... you leave at 8 abd will be back 16-18 depending od the day and number of stops

Any idea how much time it requires to finish a scuba dive ? we are two and first time divers.

You need to have at least 12 hours rest after diving before you can fly , speak to the dive School who will advise you as you need to fill out forms before a dive which will ask when your flight is. Its dangerous to fly to soon after a dive

We booked a snorkelling day out for two adults and there was a meal included. We had as much cold drinks as we wanted and there was a buffet lunch which was a Thai curry rice and salad which was all included in the price.
