The island and the beach are amazing. The coral reef is also lively with colorful fishes. It's a great snorkeling experience. But we visited on a tour, and there were loads of tours at the same time, so extremly crowded. This didn't bother my time...More

We visited bamboo island as part of a tour. The snorkeling experience is rather amazing. As well as the island itself even with hermit crabs walking the beach.

Bamboo island is really relaxing. There were not many people as it was the monsoon season. White sands and clean water. I managed to see a small school of fish but that's all. If you just want to swim and have a nice relaxing day...More

Not possible, the island is very small and the lodging is for staffs only.

When we were there in december 2018 we were told that now they allow people to camp there for short period of times. This means only if you own a tent, then there is a "place" to stay. Other than that as awesome s the island... More

You can ask any of the boats in Tonsai pier to take you there and also other islands or snorkeling spots. You can barter the price. Keep in mind that there is a fee you need to pay to visit the island and it’s about $15 usd... More
