I can see how this would be an amazing place, but every square inch was full of people in early January. We did enjoy viewing the huge (figuratively and literally) variety of people from all over the world as they took in this sight. Fun...More

Nice clear water, relatively quiet beach compared to its counterpart Railay Beach, able to do rock climbing here as well. However, very shallow water making swim almost impossible (unless you go out of the fenced swimming area). Not much option for food.

Also called Princess beach. Though it is truly the softest sand your foot will step on during your stay in Krabi region, the crowds just kill it all. The place is beautiful imagining there’d be no dozens and dozens of boat bringing thousands just for...More

We went there on the evening and sunset was really nice. I'd recommend for visiting on the evening if you just want to chill and relax without swimming.

There were climbers that were scaling specific cliffs over the water out from Railey beaches, they were getting to them by boat.

I would not have any problems bringing children on the long tail boats. They are very safety conscious and everyone has to sit “inside” the boats where the sides are covered. There is also life jackets easily accessible.

you can arrange for the tour boat to depart at 7.30am or 8am. You might need to pay for the whole boat if there are no other passengers and you are in a hurry.

Hi, I and my wife will reach Krabi airport at 8 AM, and we have only 1 day to spend in Ao Nang as we will be heading to phi-phi on next day. We will skip 4 island trip, but may go to poda island only if time permits. Below are my questions: 1) We have not booked any package as the day trip from most of the operator starts at around 8:30AM. Can we take separate...More

Probably doing a 4 islands tour is your best option.. But I think you are packing in a lot within a day.. You could do it.. No doubt but you will get very little time at each place..
