I arrived in Ao Nang today and was looking for a gym to train at. Having done some brief research beforehand, Heroic gym looked promising.
After taking an absolute age to find the place which is very well hidden, I had eventually found the place and spoke with the guy at reception about arranging personal training sessions which were discounted for July and were on posters in the gym. I was first told that this is not in place because of covid (even though this was apparently a covid special offer). I was then told that because I was a foreigner/farang, this does not apply to me.
The impressions I got from the gentleman I spoke to was that I was not welcome at the gym. He told me to leave my email address and he will get someone to email me. When I asked them when the person supposedly emailing me will get in touch as I would prefer to speak to them, he said you can speak to me instead.
I'm not holding my breath on Heroic emailing me as this guy had made me feel unwelcome the minute I walked through the door.
Really really disappointed with this service as I had a great time at the gyms at my previous locations in koh samui and koh phangan and made friends at both places.

Why play horrible hard dance music or cheesy teen songs from 8 am in the morning all day I can have my ipod on full and still hear it pumping in the background. The only person that likes it is the 16 year old receptionist because it reminds her of the time she kissed her boyfriend 3 years ago . I ask them to turn it down and that lasts about 30 minutes then it gos back up . I even sent an email and got no reply . It's attached to an hotel. Its adults that pay the bills . It's not a nightclub . Great equipment, no idea what they are doing .

Visited as a non-regular customer, first the gym was spacious, its got everything you needed and seemed like it would never get crowded. The service was so so impressive, they helped me when I was struggling to adjust my bike also gave us 2 free water. Will come back if I have a chance

Very nice place to go training, big and modern, Access to a 50 meters pool.
Amazing staffs very nice and friendly.
A special thanks to the lovely manager Jiap ( i am not sure of the spelling sorry for the that ) she is very help full and always smile.
I strongly recommend this place.

Top dollar gym, with a Lot of serious Machines and loose weigts. Friendly and serviceminded staff. Only place for emprovement can be done, is in the changing and shower area, but there are hot and Cold water and a separate room for changing.

This gym has all of the equipment anyone could ever need. Very clean and new equipment and it's never crowded.

I come to Ao Nang 2-3 times a year and always make sure to hit up Heroic Fitness Club. Awesome equipment with everything you need, tonnes of pull-up bars, spin bikes, and all the extras you need, like Swiss balls, TRX, boxing gloves and bags, mats, the works. Customer service is top notch, which makes it a great place to workout and to visit.

I workout here consistently. There are plenty of weights and a variety of machines, etc. to keep your fitness up when traveling. If you're here for a couple of weeks, it's worth it to go for the month membership rather than daily...

Very interesting place near the main street. A bit expensive for tourists but worth the price! the only objections to the dressing room, but the whole property is a big plus. Nice cardio place with good equipment!

I'm a crossfitter and considering their is no box in the area this was a good alternative. plenty of pull up bars, free weights, dumbells benchpress. only 1 squat rack but no one else uses it.
300baht a day which is pretty resonable. toilets were a little stinky.
