Just annoying for everyone nearby.

Cant sleep in a Hotel anywhere near this place. Starts at 5 am. With horrific war sounds and Ende at midnight.

Stay away. Shady persons around this place.

Very nice experience doing our prayers here. All 5 prayers can be done here and do try the mini bazaars they have outside the mosque in the evenings. Donation boxes can be found at prayer rooms and well, drop some Bahts if you can as this mosque is 100% community-run! :)

Both to see the mosques and to hear from them is very sad. Ao Nang used to be nearly 100% buddhistic, but now more and more people wearing burkas and it´s getting more and more muslims in this paradise looking down on women who wearing normal beach clothes..

Its an excellent place and the mosque is beautiful right in the middle of the Town. Plenty of halal options nearby and the Ao Nang beach is only 5 mins walk.

Its a must see place if you are visiting Krabi.

I need to say that I’m not a racist in any way, this Mosque is situated halfway through town, on the Main Street. The section of Street it is in, is heavily influenced in the Muslin way for about 2 km. I know that some may say “of course”, but in a Thai tourist town, it’s quite strange. No restaurants sell beer, of course (we got caught out), and the morning prayer, (as someone else stated), radiates well outside their sector, influencing absolutely everyone, wanting it or not. It was heard in our resort, well over 2km away.
A big unexpected.

This Mosque is a blight on the Main Tourist area of Aonang! It is only new, having been completed in 2016 but has a very negative impact on the surrounding area. The Mosque has wires 'Loud Speakers (and I do mean LOUD!) along each side of the road that it faces and the various speakers extend over 300 metre's from the Mosque. Just before each prayer time the speakers blare out the Arabic songs (this not a tradition, or done in Gulf Countries, of loud speakers along the roads). You cannot talk, sleep or even enjoy a meal with this annoying racket, even if you are in a Hotel near by! The Muslim night Market is a rip off too!

I would say, visit this place at night 6:00 to 22:00 if you want to taste some fresh and nice local street food, fruits and buy souvenirs. This place is a good competition to the market along the seaside, but it has a stronger local touch.

Beautiful structure. Situated +/- 1 km from the beach...Colorful spotlights at night makes the mosque looks mesmerizing. There will be a night market outside the gate selling food, clothes, and souvenirs.
