Took a trip to Hong islands last week. It's a beautiful place and even for a rainy season it was enjoyable. Tides were high so water was pretty mirky but we could see a lot of fish with snorkel masks on. We had been to 4 islands during dry season and could see lots of fish with bare eyes but... More

We did a private longboat tour of these islands and we were fortunate to have perfect weather at the end of July when there had been a few days of rain and wind. We first went to Paradise Island, where we spent a little time being the only ones there, it truly felt like Paradise, amazing sand, wonderful snorkeling. We... More

A little far from Krabi mainland. Have to travel by boat. Extra 300 bath for going in the Islands. The pontoon bridge is vacilating :D The islands and the sea is pure and so blue

All the islands in the area of Krabi are amazing and stunning! I could easily stay here a week to visit all the beautiful islands! The only thing is that visiting in August mostly goes along with a lot of rain and that makes the majestics islands less nice to travel to. Though it was worth a visit anyway, but... More

Hong Island has a couple of surprises for first time visitors. Speeding up to the cliffs in a long tailed boat has you gripping your seat, only to realise there is a small opening leading to a beautiful sea lake. On the other side of the island is a beautiful white sand beach with an island in the middle and... More

If you book a small boat (Ours is like $3,300 baht but can accomodate up to 10 pax I would say tho there were only 6 of us), before entering the Hong island you should be sailed to a very beautiful área with the water level to your knees only. You will be able to just go down and walk... More

We joined a private tour to Hong Island and its nearby islands, including Pakbia Island. We stopped for about 2 hours at Hong Island, having our lunch while swimming and playing at the beach. The beach is beautiful with soft sands and crystal clear water. We have had a great time here as we came here during low season so... More

Did this trip as have been to the other islands before. This was a big disappointment. Although it's inevitable other tourists will be on your same itinerary these islands are full to the brim with people. No island getaway here. The islands themselves are plain average at best with little to offer in terms of beauty, comfort, swimming or snorkeling.... More

Just took 25 min by long tail boat from our hotel, I think it is ok to spend a morning here. Sand is ok (I found the sand of Tubkaak Beach is better), low visibility under water, you can see some fishes swimming around you (but not those colorful fish). It is enjoyable to get a ride on long tail... More

Hong island is one place where you can relax from crowd. Good place for island hopping. The trip cost for 2 adults is around 800 baht to go in long tail boat and 1100 baht for speed boat with lunch and fruits. The kids below 4 enjoy a free trip . The nature park free is 350 baht per person.... More
