Disappointed by the snorkelling experiences on our other island tours we were advised that the Koh Haa Island trip was the best for unspoilt beaches and coral. The cost was B2,500 each and an additional B400 each national park fee, which included hotel pick up, breakfast, lunch, soft drinks and a high speed catamaran to the islands. It was well worth it, the islands are closed to tourists for the winter months and the environment reflects the fact that less tourists have visited. The water is crystal clear and teaming with fish, we even spotted a small black tip reef shark. The beach is powder white sand. You can't miss this trip.....

Please be careful that current here is strong.
Very beautiful and unique.
Normally they stack the trip to Koh Rok and Koh Ha together. Go in Low season and less people and the whole ocean is yours.
If being kids along, make sure don’t go too far away from boat or remember to yell for help if being push away by the strong current.

This is one of the best snorkelling places I've ever been to & definitely the best I've been to in Thailand.
We visited Koh Haa with Pimalai as a Sunset snorkelling tour. At the time we visited we managed to see many varieties of tropical fish including some clown fish, moray eels, a baby barracuda, Lion fish, stone fish, starfish, sea cucumbers just to name a few. We also saw many varieties of coral & other colourful fish that I can't name. This is definitely worth visiting for snorkelling.
Also, be careful if you are bringing kids here to snorkel - there are stone fish here.
It's also relatively quiet here so no where near as spoilt as other touristy snorkelling places in Thailand.

Visited this little cove with a small, picturesque beach on a snorkelling tour. It was the best snorkelling of the three spots we stopped. We had the incredible luck of seeing a 6-foot Giant Moray eel and it was quite the experience. I would recommend this location for those that love to snorkel; there is a roped in area to keep the tour boats from posing a danger to the snorkelers and the waters are calm in the little cove. It also seemed less busy than that other spots we stopped at, but perhaps that was just luck.

Haa island does not allow people to go on the beach yet, too bad. You can either Snorkel or scuba around the island. There are many colorful fish swim around the coral. But it is not a wow or anything.

Snorkeling 2 x 45 min plus 35 min. Great underwater scenery with colourful coral reefs and many fish. Well worth a visit, thanks to Raya divers. The tour didn't feel rushed. So choose your operator carefully.
If you enjoy this, you might also like Phi Phi Islands snorkeling trip.
Keep this paradise clean ☺

This is the divesite where everybody can find whatever they like in diving. From frogfish, leaf fish, ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimps, turtle, barracudas, to whalesharks, guitarshark and mobula ray, I have seen everything here. So many things, it would take ages to write all down.I have atm 1700 dives, but that is one of the best divesites I have ever been.

Having decided to avoid the crowds at Phi Phi we took a boat to Koh Haa. Stunning rock formations jutting out in the middle of the ocean. As you get nearer the rocks the aqua blue water comes into view along with a deserted sandy beach. Boat anchored, snorkel and flippers on and straight in the water. Saw lots of colourful fish and great to see Nemo has been reintroduced to the waters. Clear visibility and for best coral and vibrant fish is circling around the drop offs on the big rocks. Recommend going later afternoon so can watch the sunset on boat ride home with a cold beer in hand.

Great snorkeling trip with clear waters and a lots of fish and other sealife. I would recommend this for snorkeling. I wish only that the operators would advise people not to touch anything or step on corals and moreover, not to collect anything as souvenirs!
