Old historic town square that is absolutely gorgeous. Worth the short trip there from Prague . Best kept secret . Go to u dabla restaurant back of square northwest corner.

I loved the outside of this building located on Peace Square. With its grafetti (spelling?) and the black and white combination. I will suggest you read the description of the history on www.litomerice.cz. this is a wonderful asset to the square. It currently houses businesses.

The building in the main square of Litomerice, is actually a hotel. Although we didn't stay there (so cannot comment on this aspect), the sgraffito on the exterior walls, as in the picture, is fantastic - even though a little of the picture detail has bee n lost over the years

The artwork on this building is so nicely done. The building is right on the main square in town so easy to get there.

This house really shows how wealthythe town always was. Perfect example of renesaince sgraffito facade it has! Perfect picture!

This building is one of dominants on the square. This building is amazing due to his architecture. Definitely worth seeing.

Originally built in the 14th century it was rebuilt in 1560 by Italian Ambrosi Balli. In 1650 Ferdinand III gave the house privileges of knighthood seat with a " trademark " Salva Guarda - timeless royal privilege protecting object against looting and harassment by troops.
The house was one of first hotel establishments in central Europe.
Jose Rizal, a Filipino nationalist met his friend, Ferdinand Blumentritt, a professor here in 1887.

This building was located on Peace Square and was a nice surprise. It depicted the history of the city showing the wine growing process that the town was once known for. Not only was the historical aspect a nice touch, but the artwork itself was very neat.
