We visited the square on a cold February evening. There weren't many people around at the time. All the buildings were lit up from the outside and the whole square looked really nice. We ate at one of the lovely restaurants and carried on on our journey from Berlin to Prague. I can highly recommend stopping in Litomerice for a short walk, possibly more.

Located in Prague 2,the Square is a worthy stop either walkable or my taking metro one station past museum station. The church while not a massive cathedral, is a beautiful architectural scene surrounded by a small park that is safe and well attended primarily by locals . There are some small vendors in the park and exhibits of interest on a small scale but worthwhile and one feels a part of the neighborhood. There are many local restaurants and my favorite is an Italian cafe... Dolce Abbriciao..a 2 minute walk from church. When there you must try their Pastacio Gelato!! This area is alos served by Tram #22 which i recommend taking a no hurry ride ..up & down ..the length of its stops to really get a Prague city overview....so much more than just Old town.

I liked this town square because of it's quaintness. All four sides were buildings with interesting architecture and colors. What is great is that alot of them are original. Go see for yourself.....

A short drive from Terezin, you will find one of the Czech Republic’s prettiest small cities. The contrast could not be more pronounced.

Colorful buildings lining the town square (too packed with parked cars) and many pubs and restaurants serving solid Czech cuisine and sensational beer provide a glimpse of normal Czech life. Be sure the walk down the side streets away from the square so you don’t come away remembering only the parked cars.

A short drive from Terezin and light years away, you will find Litomerice; a perfect place to decompress.

We had a chance to visit Litomerice after many years and were more than satisfied with the look of the historical center. The houses are were well preserved. The town has a wonderful atmosphere.

Nice but busy square (lot of traffic and also the main parking of the town). The houses are nicely reconstructed and there are very nice wine markets in September - a must see attraction.

The Peace Square is part of a town called Litomerice located just 60 km North from Prague. It is surrounded by historical buildings and most of the ground is covered with traditional big stones. You can find many restaurants and coffee shops as well as a bank, pharmacy and more. During the week days, the square gets quiet busy, especially due to parking spots that are available around the square. However, in the evening hours and during the weekends, it is very peaceful and quiet as most of the shops are closed and only restaurants and cafes are open.

It must be fun to just wander around the square and visit the museums around. I wish I had more time to study the sgraffitos of some of the houses. Perhaps not serving as a parking space would make it even more spectacular, but on the other hand, I found it comfortable to be able to park there.
