    Worth a visit
Fantastic to see all the tea plantations along the mountains. If you want beautiful pictures from Malaysia, you should take care here. There was good food at the factory if you were hungry and a small shop. Worth a visit

    Wonderful place
Cameron Bharat Tea and Cameron Valley are in fact the same thing. Here we find a restaurant (where you can drink tea, eat cakes or some hot dishes), the shop and there is the possibility for 4 RYM to go down to the plantations on foot and for 15 RYM to go down and then back up with the shuttle/buggy; I recommend going down on foot even if it is more tiring to be able to calmly admire the landscape at every point. the café also has a balcony from which to admire the landscape and view photos. There are no taxis that leave from here, make an agreement with the taxi that will take you from the center, we agreed for 50 RYM return

    Better than Boh
fantastic experience to walk through the tea plantations enroute to a small waterfall and a small hike up the hill to a lookout area. visited Boh the day before and that was really crowded so this place was much more pleasant to wander around. if you prefer not to walk, there is a buggy option (for a small fee) that will take you up and down to the waterfall area. the views back from the lookout area is very picturesque definitely one for the photo album!

    Below par
No tea tasting, no guided tour, no historical information provided. Simply a commercial venture to gain wallet share. The seating area and toilets require immediate attention. The toilets are filthy and unhygienic!

Highlights of our Cameron Highlands holiday
The heaven was smiling down on us when we visited in August. It was sunny & cool , with clear skies to enhance our first ever proper visit to CH as a family group of tourists so we loved the experience. Not only did the breathtaking view motivated all of us to take the semi easy trek to the top of the view point up the top, we also paid for a buggy ride experience down to the bottom & back up to complete our experience. The ride included a few tea souvenir per rider too. We easily spent over an hour or two enjoying the gorgeous site and mountain view. A true highlight of our Cameron Highlands holiday trip.

    Plantation fabulous cafe awful
Fabulous scenery lovely walk to the signage . Very steep in places . It might have been better to get the buggy as it was great going but heavily rained on the way back . My only complaint is the cafe the food was cold and pretty disgusting I asked for my money back as after waiting 20 mins for burger and chips to come it arrived cold . If no one complains they will carry on serving below standard food

    Nice stop for photos.
Stunning landscape. Good easy walk up the top. There is buggy ride both ways only RM20 and you get a free pack of tea. Some food and desserts offered at the bottom or entry of plantation. First stop has limited parking by roadside. Second stop at cameron tea valley has more food options with view.

Close-up view of a working plantation
There’s a MYR4 entry fee (more if you want to ride on the buggies), which keeps the crowds down. It’s not as polished and manicured as the BOH plantations, but one can freely walk amongst the tea bushes here, getting close-up views of the workers at work. There’s a man-made waterfal, and long, winding steps to reach the Hollywood-type hillside sign that says "Cameron Valley Tea". The cafes didn't appeal to me at all and they were very busy, so I didn't eat or drink there. I didn't take the buggy and I enjoyed the walking, but there is a lot of up and down, and it can become very hot and tiring. Only for people who are fit.

Do not miss this feats of colour and history

We took the golf buggy down to the centre with Morgan our driver who had worked the plantation for 30 years. Morgan gave us such authentic insight into the tea process, the history and his own personal experience.
What an asset. Please thanks Morgan for bringing the experience to life for us.
Suggestion. Ask all your gollf drivers to share their Cameron Heights experiences and tell folks about the tea process.
Thank you again!

this is the place to visit if you like to walk around in the tea leave garden, plenty of spots for awesome greenery photography.
entrance fee is RM6 per adult to the garden below, would not recommend the tram ride to the bottom of the garden unless you have difficulty walking up and down hills.
food and drinks are resonably priced however cafe tables are limited.

We went there with extended family. We were thinking that our parents, who are in their 80's and have mobility issues, may need to stay in the cafe. However, when we got there, we saw a sign saying that there was an option of buggy ride. Of course, we paid for that for the whole family to go down. Unfortunately, it is only after we have paid for it that we realised that to get down to the buggy, our parents needed to go down some steep staircases. In the end, they had to go back to the cafe. We got a refund for them. However, I think it really defeated the purpose of having buggy ride.
Another problem is that we took the buggy to the plantation. The scenary was great but the toilets were out of action and we were told that the nearest toilet was hundreds of meters uphill. That's why I have to take another point off the rating.

Overated. The scones and tea are too expensive. RM32.00 for a pot of tea and 2 scones. And to view the tea plantation, there's a charge of RM3.00 per pax. Getting too commercial. Guests are spending money at the cafe which is a side attraction and they still sell their tea products. Viewing the tea plantations should be free.

Visited Cameron valley in early December - it’s a nice place, they sell their own homemade masala powder and it’s so good.

However, for the paid tour, we went with 3 above 65 paxs and apparently it’s supposed to be free for them but none of the staff informed us. We only found out about it after our tour on a very very small notice. Cameron valley should have it written when we purchase our tickets or make sure their staffs informs us! Also, the paid tour wasn’t so worth it - there’s just one cafe inside the tea plantation. It’s worth it if you just want to take photos and nothing else.

Entry fee (4 RMB for adults, for kids it’s free) is fair as are the prices in the shop. One can spend 30-45 minutes walking around and taking pictures. Pathways are well maintained and it’s not too steep even for small kids, so was surprised seeing so many people opting to drive around by buggy. It’s a nice experience.

This is a full day tour to the Malaysian highlands. It is a part of the Malaysia that is 2000 meter above the sea-level that the Englishman used to go to in order to cool down during the colonial time. One example of the advantage of this coolness is that they can grow good strawberries just as us Swedes. Of course, a nice visit to a strawberry farm was included in the trip. However, the main attraction was the visit to a tea plantation (I am a very heavy tea drinker myself) and the sights of the landscape itself. There were also a stop at a waterfall, some butterflies and an Aboriginal man that showed a traditional house and.how to use a blowpipe. This was somewhat of a guy in the cage type show that did not give you a nice feeling. All in all it was a very nice tour with a very good driver/guide.

Stopped at the Second Bharat Tea Shop (TS2). It was quite crowded as holiday season, but did not have to wait long to order food ( cream tea). Scones and carrot cake were good. Tea shop has a great panoramic view and for RM3 per person you can descend to the tea garden to walk some trails and visit various photo stops.

We love sitting in the cafe, sipping tea while enjoying the views of the beautiful tea plantation below. It used to be free to walk among the tea bushes, but now you have to pay an entrance fee. There are actually two cafe near each other along the main road.

The place is alright by Malaysian standards. Garbage is a lot perhaps due to the high volume of tourists and irresponsible litterbugs. Garbage bins at the viewing decks perhaps? You pay RM3 to get up close with the tea farms, but that's about it. Food is relatively overpriced though not excessively unreasonable (except the scones - pretty good, served with clotted cream and jam, and I suppose tastes different from the prepacked meals like pies, fries and nuggets). The teas themselves are pretty good, but its a shame we can't refill them lol
