I hadn’t seen this advertised anywhere and came across it on Google maps. I get the impression that it’s using science and technology to improve agricultural methods - though none of the signage is in English (other than plant names) so that is my interpretation! It has a number of different themed areas to visit which includes various gardens. If you enjoy plants and gardening it’s worth a visit - I enjoyed it more than the butterfly centre. (It also has a small butterfly house). The range of exotic flowers is what impressed me most.

Let's be honest. If you've done the tree plantation and a trail or two you may be looking for another diversion. You can walk up the hill in pleasant green surroundings and admire all the fruit and flowers. We were there in the morning before the tour buses. Couldn't see anywhere for coffee unless they had some where they sell strawberries and cream. More information would have been good. But a cheap entrance fee and a pleasant stroll. They apparently close for an hour at lunchtime, so check.

I read rather good reviews of this place and decided to visit. Boy, what a big letdown!!! Apple trees which were all bald (no leaves) and a hydrophonic area which had pots of some lettuce plants sitting in shallow stagnant water troughs surely cannot count for hydrophonic. This place is really a poor reflection of our nation's agricultural research efforts.

The place is a wonderful place to enjoy plants and flowers. You will take lots of photos! There's even a butterfly garden for you to see some common butterflies. Just next to the butterfly garden is a deer enclosure and a rabbit enclosure. So there's something for the kids to see and play with. There is a pitcher plant and orchid park for you to have a good look at some tropical plants. If you are adventurous, hike up a short trail to a viewpoint to have a bird's eye view of the park. You will spend at least a pleasant 2 hours here.

The ticket price is inexpensive and there are lots of things to see. The flower section is good. Fruit and vegetable sections look sad and the butterfly farm had barely any butterflies. This is best visited in the early morning or late afternoon when it is not too hot.

We found this place by accident but it turned out to be a great morning out. The agro park is only 3 RM for entrance and they have a wonderful garden, botanical plants, strawberry farm, tea plantation, and examples agricultural operations, which lets you see everything in one place. It is a great place to go if it is raining as most everything can be reached by covered walkway. It is good for people with mobility issues as well, as it is located on flat ground and not the side of a hill like most other farms. The have a tea processing plant but this was closed when we visited so can’t say anything about it. Lastly they have a shop that sells all of the local products that you can get at the farms, but they are all in one place, and as it is a government facility are priced with no mark-up, which makes them cheaper than buying at the farms.

First time here after several visits to Cameron. Huge variety of flowers and plants you all in 1 place. Great place for kids to learn.
They also have a nursery where plants are for sale (real cheap).
There is also a small rabbit enclosure where you can feed the rabbits (but didn't try) but the rabbits conditions do not look too good. Some appear to have skin problems.
Oh remember to try the strawberry ice cream or jelly before you go.
A nice little place to spend the morning learning about flowers/plants etc.

Prepare to spend an hour plus around the large area and admiring every flower and plants available on display here. There are a lot of photo opportunities and a little exertion physically as the terrain is hilly at the end. They also have rabbits play area where you can allow your kids to enter for a small fee. There are some food places if you havent gotten your breakfast already.
Recommended for a family/group tour if you have a lot of time to spend.

This is my first destination during recent visit (Oct 2014), having picnic lunch after 4 hours drive from KL is whort. With only RM3 (Adult) entrance fees, you can experience the highland agro from the all types of fruits, vegitable and animals.

Highly recommeded to the family that want to have a great time together. This location complete with toilet, playground, "surau", food stall, animal park, rose garden, highland fruits farms, survenior shops and many more.

Tips: Make sure you come during the fruits sessions and note that 1-2pm it is close for lunch break time.

Though not massively advertised, a must on the to do list in tanah rata. Nice overview on agricultural production in the region, authentic, nice place to be - for very little entrance fee. Close to the 'main road', its worth going there for an hour or two...
