We came for a family evening specially to eat their frog legs, as it was from a very long time our expectation was height. Unfortunately, the frog legs were dry and very oily, we were disappointed. The rest of the dishes were ok, but you can’t really go wrong with salad, melon and ice cream. Next time we will definitely go somewhere else closer.

However, the restaurant area is amazing with the castle.

We had a very good walk along the river, the path was so beautiful, my girls had fun with the butterflies and dragonflies.
The château was beautiful and full of history. The château has an audioguide, fun to listen while visiting inside the château.

From a distance it looks like a fantastic and beautiful old chateau, built on an island in the Loire River, but once you are there, you are in for a big surprise. It is not an old castle, it’s the dream come true of someone from the area who wanted to live in a castle. So he built this one for him and his wife. Unfortunately ii is inhabitable due to the fact that it floods! That is the reason there is no furniture at all in the castle. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful castle.

This castle sits on the waterfront of the Loire and it looks beautiful. When I was there, the offered a guided tour, but only in French. They advised not to join if your French is basic of not that well. So I did not see much of the inside of the castle. There was not much to see but the castle, the bridge to the castle and the surroundings.

The castle from the outside looks real nice. But the tour inside was a letdown. There is literally nothing to see besides printed out pictures.

Beautiful little chateau to go and visit, we went on a lovely sunny day and it looked gorgeous in the sunshine, we did the tour with the MP3 players giving us the history which was very interesting, place to sit and have food and drink overlooking the river, I would say check opening times as they do close for few hours during the day

I've seen the chateau only from the outside. It was worthing to drive! Chateau is small and very beautiful, it looks like someone put a model on the rock and water.

This is a nice small castle. Now it is almost in the water but before it was on a rock. They decided to higher the water 10 meter. But there are still some pictures before that time. If you want to know more please visit this website:
