After reading reviews here, we booked for the lower gorge trip (Etroits). This involves "cycling" there and train back. It was hard work at times during the first 6km but the second 6km you free wheel down which is great fun! Lovely scenery and an...More
We rode the Velo rail yesterday afternoon and enjoyed it very much. We chose to ride down the valley from the start point as the landscape is more rugged with great views. You are required to stay at least 50 metres from the car in...More
Very nice employees. Great fun for the family. They will provide baby car seats if necessary. Seat belt for the passengers. 2 brakes if necessary. A walkie-talkie every 5 car, again if necessary. First we thought it was a little hard because of the "faux...More

In summer, should be booked in advance.
Recommandation: make the "viaducs" tour early in morning (departure at 09:45) to enjoy the landascape . For lunch go to Café Marie in Lapras (15 min drive) and you will have time to visit ferme des Charaigniers and...More
Travelled up from Ruoms in southern Ardeche to visit Boucieu-le-Ro, and do the "Routes of the Viaducs" in the morning, and then go on the Ardeche steam train on the lower part of the line in the afternoon.

This is a really fun trip in two parts. One part is a trip up the track on a historic train, which is also towing a fleet of pedal cars. The other part is riding the pedal cars back down the track. You do need...More
