Certainly worth our time. We had walked the Olive Tree Trail(Sentiers des Oliviers) up from the center of Nyons, along several orchards with great views of les Barronies foothills, and dropped down to visit the musee near the end of the trail.

Conveniently located inside the Vignolis - Cooperative Agricole du Nyonsais, the museum offers a portrait of olive growing and olive oil production. Most of the information is in French, but basic French grammar can get you through. The artifacts are generally self-explanatory. Nice quiet museum...More

The museum was interesting showing the local history of the olive production and displaying the implements of long ago. The video would have been more helpful if it had a corresponding pamphlet in other languages or perhaps subtitles. I really enjoyed seeing the ancient Roman...More
