La tollara: an idea, a project, a passion. A young winery, on the piacenza val d’arda hills, in an environment of strong food and wine tradition. Pursuing excellence, emphasising the relationship between wine and territory, protecting the local grape variety, detaching us from sameness. Rigorous selection of grapes coming exclusively from our own vineyards, yielding very little per acre, respecting the land, hand picking the grapes at the right level of ripening. Wine making and advanced oenological techniques, highly qualified cooperators. Passion, dedication, consistency, sacrifice and no compromise. Entrepreneurship, application and continuous research. All this for a wine to grow, and for us to grow with it.

We visited this winery as our 2nd in the area. The owner showed us around and even allowed our dog to join us as he behaved well with her two dogs. Then we enjoyed tasting the wines in a lovely sunny room before choosing some bottles to buy to take home with us.
