A Historic Town in North Region
Jul 2018 • Friends
My colleague and I had a few hours to kill before going to airport and decided to visit Dumat Al-Jandal town which is a 30 minutes drive from Sakaka and it is known for being a historic place in the Jouf Area. It was absolutely worth the time. We wanted to see the lake and Omar Bin Al-Khattab mosque and ended up seeing more than what we wanted. We were lucky to see an official tourism guide who took us thru the Marid Castle and told us more about the history of the town. It was really amazing to learn that much about the town and its deep roots in the history. At the end we visited the lake and took some very nice photos. Highly recommended for everyone.

The town of domat jandal is very beautiful and it has a vast historical background its a must thing for those who like to see different places, since saudi arabia has very less to offer in tourism industry its the best bet if you are in domat jandal.
