Hotel was of the standard you would expect.
On my arrival all was explained. Being a solo guest in a place you don’t know is not always good. However a member of staff, sapphire, who took the the time to speak to me and was constantly helping everyone where she could. It makes a difference when your away from home.

I love Burnham Beeches, it is a really lovely place. However I have to give it 1 out of 5 since they changed to CCTV based parking enforcement. I went to pick up my son from a school trip on a very busy and sunny Sunday afternoon. Was unable to park as there were no free spaces, so spent 10 minutes driving up and down trying to find a space, then my son arrived, so we just left. 10 days letter I get a parking charge notice of £70 as I was photographed coming in, and leaving 15 minutes later without paying to park. I would appeal, but as the City of London have sold off their parking enforcement to a money grabbing third party robotic system with no human contact possible, my chances of success are slim and yet it will probably take me hours of my time. Squeezing every penny of money out of everyday people these days seems to be the norm so I shouldn't really be surprised. Shame on you City of London, people are strapped enough as it is.

Well presented clean hotel. Room was small but had what we needed, including coffee machine. Room service menu not child friendly but plenty of local takeaways. Breakfast excellent. Pool facilities small but adequate. Staff very accommodating.

Lovely very natural country park. Lots of woodland walks. Remains of a historic site (not much to see but info board telling you about it so interesting) Open space area with a cafe or a flat open field for picnics & very near Farnham Common with shops to buy provisions for picnics 5mins walk away & if the cafe in Burnham Beeches is very busy several family friendly pubs & cafes nearby enough to walk 5-10 minutes to purchase food & drink if making a day of it. Pay & display car park so bring money for meter or a phone to pay for parking & beware disabled parking charges too. Toilets available near the cafe. Dogs allowed but need to be kept under control as many children running around & wildlife like deer & squirrels that some dogs chase & at some times of year cows & horses indeed many areas a leash is required which man not suit all dog walkers. Many restrictions on parking on local surrounding roads as rightly the people who live locally suffer some who park dangerously on corners/pavements or inconsiderately as this Park can get very busy at weekends & bank holidays so use the car park in Burnham Beeches or the pay & display car park behind the Farnham Common shops if park car park full it is 5 mins walk away) especially in lockdown & fine weather. Some tarmac pedestrian roads in the park which make it easier for wheelchairs & pushchair & prams. Please take your rubbish home if having coffee/ picnics, dog poo etc or dispose in the bins again littering is a big bugbear with local people who live nearby & they will be very grateful. It’s a lovely park & my children love exploring it from toddlers upwards & have learned a lot about nature. The park also in normal times run various seasonal events so hopefully that will continue in the future

Dogs running without any control- a deer has been attacked and injured recently and an old lady knocked over by an out of control dog on the green area. Totally overrun in lockdown affecting local residents badly and resulting in a subsequent loss of support. No evidence of wardens who need to be visible and monitor behaviour. BBQ on green spaces are a danger to everyone and a lack of following the covid regulations should be addressed. Paths are being damage and the environment destroyed. No effort made to manage crowds or people who do not follow rules and when will some new trees be planted? Very disappointing.

My mother got a parking ticket even though displaying a disabled badge and in a disabled parking place. Apparently in the small print on the ticket machine it says you have to register each time you go by email/ phone. Not impressed. A sign needs to be clearly placed at the disabled bays. Mum has a 70 pound fine and is mortified. Very sad as she does not go out a great deal and this was a special treat.

But ham beeches itself is lovely to walk around however I like many have been caught out getting a fine with the new rules regarding disabled badges. It isn’t clearly marked that you have to register each time so please be aware of that.

Burnham Beeches is a beautiful place to visit only let down by the Company District Enforcement who manages it's parking,I got a parking charge for breaking down in Burnham Beeches,I appealed the parking charge and provided details of the breakdown, one of the excuses D.E. gave for rejecting my appeal was the person I spoke to at D.E told me she didn't know the difference between parking and breaking down,D.E. said they had evidence I parked there but this is just anpr photos of my car entering and leaving, not my carnwith it's bonnet up the whole time I was there, also when I pointed out D.E. staff failing they became very aggressive in their attitude, finally they said if they cancelled the parking charge they would have to do that for everyone, each appeal should be dealt with individually to be completely fair

Would never go near the place again. Got parking fine for having disabled badge , apparently you have to register the badge each time you go in car park which is not clearly marked.. Fine if you have a phone with you but like myself and many pensioners and disabled dont have one. Queued for over an hour to buy a takeaway coffee.
