This is a lovely beach we accessed from the Camping and Caravan Club Site at Dunstan Hill. It’s a lovely walk from the site, dog friendly and it takes around 10-15mins to walk to the Embleton Bay beach on the trail through the fields and...More

Lovely to see everyone enjoying the sunshine (just wish that there weren't so many as we decided to leave). Cars were parked the length of the road entering the village as the carpark was full. I'm looking forward to returning when it's not the holidays...More

This is a lovely beach with golden sands. The only real issue might be parking. There is a pay and display car park but it isn't huge. There is also a lovely pub to welcome you after a walk. Expect bracing breezes.

What a beautiful walk it is along the Embleton Bay at low tide. Walk up to Low Newton and have some refreshments at the Ship Inn and then walk back towards Embleton on the path leading past the bird sanctuary and past the summer houses...More

We stayed in a cottage in the area and walked along the beach which had easy access from our accommodation every morning of our stay. Superb views and beautiful beaches!

I live literally minutes from this beach and yet it still takes my breath away every time I visit it! Long, golden sandy beach, with views to Dunstanburgh Castle to the South and Low Newton and Beadnel to the North! It’s simply stunning. The sound...More

You walk across a Golf course to reach this beach from Embleton. A small pub in village at northern end and Dunstanburgh Castle at other. Good walks, but parking could be a problem in high season.

Beach is beautiful. Castle and Casters at one end and the Shii Inn at other end. Great for dog walking. Only problem not many car park spaces in Embleton.

4 of us stayed in a beautiful cottage in Christon Banks. Location was stunning. The beach was beautiful and dog friendly. Great walks around the National Park along the coast with stunning views for miles. Well worth a visit.

You were right- just needed to go on through the golf course and there you are! As others have said, there are other approaches - you could try from Low Newton-by-the-Sea or from Craster and walk along the shore or just... More
