A just breathtaking view.
From the Terrace you can have a 180° view on the whole Salerno Gulf, from Agropoli to Capri!
Get a drink and just enjoy!

The village of Trentinara is situated on a hill near Paestum and about 20 minutes by car from the sea coast. Small, but very well maintained. One of the highlights are the big panorama terrace and the "Cilento in Volo" (a kind of crossing on a high rope over 90 -100 meters high cliffs). If you are in the area, a visit is highly recommended.

Nice journey up the mountain. On the way we could see this village high up on the rocks. Nice view once there. Worth the couple of hours round trip from our base in Agropoli.

Great fun for young teens (14 & 12). Booking was easy, and we paid extra for the photos and GoPro. Us adults stayed at the start, and the kids were brought back in about half an hour by shuttle. They loved the experience! We had hoped they’d be given the option of lying down or freestyle (based on the photos on the posters) but they were just strapped in lying down on their tummies. The language was a bit of a barrier - functional but not enough to ask questions about that or be told if there was a reason why!

It was a bit tricky knowing where to park, so allow time for this. The location is within a restricted traffic zone - although it wasn’t active on the day we went - but the parking in the square nearby was for max 1hr so we had to go further away.

They emailed us a link to download all the photos taken - a handful from launch and as seen from behind as they went down, and some from the landing zone and standing ones afterwards. We haven’t received the GoPro video yet - apparently that takes a week or two to process.

It’s a really pretty area; great for far-reaching views across the area and out to sea.

Easy to visit by car. Very quiet Italian small village. Virtually no tourist around. Don't go there and spoil the atmosphere 😀

Nice view of the valley below and the sea. Steep cliff below you, deserted house at your side. A bit too far away from where people find jobs, I guess

Good ice cream and fantastic view
If you have lunch or dinner at the cantina in this town, you should go for an ice cream to this place.

It's in or near the National Park and the views are wonderful. The town is small but they have built this cool walkway around the edge. Great photos and beautiful views across the mountains and out to the see. I would guess it is a great base for hiking as there are some B&B's to choose from. We just enjoyed the drive and the walk and found it worthwhile. Stop for lunch if possible.
